What one DOES defines one's sex. It's right there in the name - homoSEXuality. One's sex is as one does.
    Gender is genetic.

No it doesn't, any more than it defines one's blood type.

Blood type is genetic just like gender. Gender is genetic; sex is as sex does.

One's sex is determined by what they do. If they do homosexual sex, their sex is homosexual. If the next day they do heterosexual sex, their sex is heterosexual. Sex is fluid. Sex is what sex does. Gender is genetic.

Depending on scenario, it can be as absurd as allowing men pretending to be women into real women's changing and restrooms. It can be men pretending to be women competing in athletic events designed for real women. The expectation that we lie to ourselves and call them something they clearly are not. That sort of special treatment isn't going to fly...

I would say that you are most likely literally the only person in the world to use the word in that manner.

Sex is an activity. What one does determines one's sex. One can be homosexual one day, heterosexual the next and a total freak the day after that. Gender does change. Sex changes; it varies. Gender doesn't change. Gender is determined by the presence or the absence of a Y-chromosome.

It ISN'T anybody else's business .. that's the point. That's precisely why there can never be any compulsion upon others to engage in a fantasy which is entirely private and personal.

Words have meanings. Homosexuality is something one does not something one is. Heterosexuality is something one does not something one is. Sex is an activity; it's right in the name: heteroSEXual and homoSEXual. What one does can change but what one is cannot. Gender cannot change. Gender is genetic.

Just because other people call medical care "healthcare" doesn't make it healthcare. I don't really care if everyone else calls medical care "healthcare". Healthcare and medical care are two very different things. Sex and gender are two very different things. Which are which is defined right within the words themselves. I don't play along when it comes to words because I think in words. Some people think in images and therefore words may not be as important to them, but they are to me. Don't even get me started on pronouns.

    Yeah, just like sex.
No, my sex was male before I did anything, and it'll stay that way until I'm dead no matter what I do.

Your gender is male, and will stay that way until you're dead. Your sex is hetero; you're heteroSEXual.
That is unless you have "male" with your wife rather than sex.

    And so is my sex.
Get real, even the DMV knows better than that - or at least it did in 2017.

The person who wants to be addressed by a different pronoun has willingly told everyone how they want to be addressed.

Conservatives here are like somebody who, upon being told that someone's name is Jones, says, "Nah, you look like a Smith to me" and then stubbornly won't call them anything else, saying they shouldn't have the "special privilege" of being addressed however they should specify and which most of us accept for everyone without even thinking.

That would be both offensive and insane to most people but conservatives can be really quirky

Are you referring to being polite or being compelled? If it's voluntary, that's one thing. If it's compulsory, that's something altogether different. So far, on the few occasions that I've encountered men who think they're women, or women who think they're men, I've played along with their delusion out of niceness, but I'm not convinced that it was the kind thing to do. Now, if my playing along with their delusion was mandatory or if I was compelled by law to do so, that would change my mind. Resistance to compelled speech is one of those things worth killing to resist. Free speech is one of those things worth dying for.

I've often wondered why we don't have privacy booths in changing rooms and why all bathrooms don't have stalls even around urinals. OTOH there are whole countries where ALL facilities are unisex and there is the fact that several militaries actually have all recruits in the same barracks. I think we are being far too prudish here.

I also think that having weight classes should pretty much obviate the male vs female thing in most sports.
