Baloney. I saw the interview and this was taken out of context....as usual.

So, when he said Trump should stop tweeting about federal cases, he was lying? Kidding? Meant the exact opposite? Was praising the wise and all-powerful Dear Leader?

Barr desreves some credit. He publicly humiliated his boss. You praise in public, scold in private. Barr scolded Trump publicly. That's not an easy thing to do. So Barr displayed some courage here and his (caricature?) as Trump-sycophant should be toned down a bit in light of this.

It always should've been toned down.

House of Reps: "We want the full Mueller report."
Barr: "Here, 99.9% of it. The rest pertains to ongoing criminal cases so we can't reveal it."
    House of Reps: "Cover up."

It's always been a conspiracy regarding the AG, and honestly I feel sorry for the man. Imagine doing your job and no one being satisfied.

Really? I listened to him say it. What do you believe was "taken out of context?"

You don’t think a lack of self control should be a disqualifying quality for a president?

He sent out a tweet. He didn’t have to speak to Barr directly in order for Barr to know what he wanted.

A judge gave that BS excuse, and it flies in the face against reason. You yourself knows it flies in the face against reason. "I could call this guy up and order him to do something. Or I'll send a 130-word TWEET."

Enough. We shouldn't degrade ourselves to entertain the implausible. We the US already granted Crossfire Hurricane. It's time to return to reason and logic.

The DOJ has taken the position in court filings that his tweets are official statements.

    https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....nald-trump-tweets-are-official-statements-of/

The only way for the country to return to reason and logic is to make sure the dumpster fire that is Dirty Donny is removed from the White House.

Really? He has made it abundantly clear that he expects complete and total loyalty. What he says, goes.

So if he issues a tweet with an opinion about something, it is absolutely clear what he wants. And if you don’t do what he wants, you risk getting fired.

Dear lord, let's put this in context: We learned about the DOJ restructuring the sentence before the tweet. The President is not issuing orders from twitter, if at all in regards to this case.

Correct. At their core, they're authoritarians. But they accuse everyone else of being Nazis.

Oh, come on. What better way for The Boss to get his stern message across and still have weazel room to claim that he did not interfere? What is that term...plausible deniability, except Trump has no idea what 'plausible' means.

Obama gave us the DACA crap even though he admitted he had no constitutional authority to do it. He did lots of stuff like that. Do you remember him telling us he didn't need congress because he had a pen and he was going to use it?

DACA was passed by the Congress. Obama didn't just "give it".
Donny Bonespurs, on the other hand, went against the express will of Congress to declare an emergency to steal funding for the wall. Trump is the authoritarian. You either don't see it or you refuse to acknowledge it because you like the authoritarian things he does.

If Trump has made it impossible for Barr to do his job, Barr's only course of action should be to resign. Or is he planning to stay in a job that he has just admitted he can't do?

DACA was NOT passed by the Congress. If it was, what was the bill number? How many votes? It was a presidential memorandum, Obama was the AUTHORitarian. You either don't see it or you refuse to acknowledge it.

"DACA was an executive action taken by President Barack Obama..." https://www.cnn.com/2018/01/02/politics/daca-explained/index.html

"Democrats have repeatedly called for Congress to vote on the Dream Act, a bill from Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin and Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham that would essentially turn DACA into a formal legal program and offer those individuals an opportunity to become US citizens over time". So, no, it wasn't passed by Congress.
