Didn’t read the link did you? http://www.politicalforum.com/index...lawmaker-has-proposed-a-vasectomy-law.568142/ Mine tink it ‘mazing that somehow ‘good for the goose is not good for the gander”
When they put that DRACONIAN anti- abortion law into practice or when someone DARED to put forward (not pass just put forward) an equivalent for men?
Isn’t it? Lots of studies say it is And the benefits range from an ability to control birth spacing through to an independent ability to determine if the pregnancy will impact your health and to what extent
I'm sure Australians can offer first hand option and programs relating to forced sterilization! 2015 Amazing ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯
I don't agree with either one...while I am pro-life I was furious with how far AL wanted to take it by eliminating rape and incest as a cause and proposing a dr should get 99 years which is more than the actual rapist! Forcing a vasectomy is also stupid on males 50 and up. Both are stupid IMO! It is possible to disagree with both, is it not?
This is a stunt And it is working because it is forcing people to see the duplicitous nature in relation to abortion. BTW why is a pregnancy from rape an exception for you if you are “pro-life”
Pretty obvious, what women would or should carry and give birth to something conceived of violence and brutality ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯
I don't believe abortion should be used as birth control, BUT in rape and incest it is NOT a woman choosing and she should have the right to choose in that case. That is a pregnancy conceived in violence and a horrible violation of a woman's body that one can't imagine. There are pro-life people that do share that view as well, exceptions being rape, incest and life of the mother. I am not going to get in a big abortion debate, but like I said both this proposal and the anti-abortion law are extremes and I disagree with BOTH.
Not only that, it's at least a 18 year commitment.. Really isn't fair to even use rape as an example, it's short sited at the very least!
"Unborn baby"? A man's living sperm is an "Unborn baby", too! Whether it's an actual sperm, or just a potential "baby", why aren't men off the hook for the deaths of all these "unborn babies"! In fact, for the Catholics it's a sin to reject those sperms with no chance of these poor "unborn babies" of getting life! Why aren't the Catholic sins less important than the Protestant "unborn babies" all the Republicans so prioritized now? Of course, all the MOAB bombs and land mines all of the "Pro-Lifers" love to pay for and explode on babies, unborn and born, there is not a thought!
What? You haven’t heard of genetic testing..............Ooops sorry.......Alabama - they all have the same DNA
Who uses abortion as birth control No, really? I man it is not even remotely logical Birth control is cheaper and less inconvenient Is your opinion of women so poor you think they are THAT stupid?
I am a WOMAN, first of all so why would my opinion of women be low? Yes, I have a couple of friends that live very promiscuous lifestyles and have had multiple abortions because they had unprotected sex. There are women that are irresponsible when having sex and go to abortion as the solution, no I am not for abortion in that case. Again I am not going into a big abortion debate...
Honestly, those couple of friends I used as an example, we don't get into deep discussions about it anymore as it gets to be a pretty heated argument. I don't know why they have unprotected sex with random men to begin with and they are aware of birth control methods.
A Are they? Because if the responses on this board are anything to go by Americans, and in particular male “pro-life” Americans seems worryingly ignorant about the statistics in relation to birth control. Now you have given an example of women you allegedly know but seemingly have not discussed the matter with them. It is amazing what a non judgemental approach will elicit because you might find the true story is something different to what you believe it is
