Those patriotic deplorables with hundreds of dollars of disposable income to spend on race tickets, and thousands of dollars of disposable income to spend on hotels and travel for the race, and who stand for the anthem, and who know which bathroom to use. Those people
I'm with you, except I cant stand to watch either! Mind numbingly boring unless someonr crashes! I like drag racing, the smell the thunder is a rush and something my generation did EVERY chance we got.. First street San Jose, every light was a quarter mile apart, fun times
I can almost hear leftist Bernie Sanders saying, "Vote for me you slackers and I will give you some working person's car."
That, or being hysterical about how the race cars are killing the planet.... Much better for the environment to sit home in mom's basement playing video games dontchaknow!
Screw all you smelly oil-stained peasants with all that black crap on your hands and dirt under your common fingernails... I'm into thoroughbred horse racing - the Sport of Kings - and we prefer the fragrance of horse sh!t.
I am a big NASCAR fan. I've only been to one race, though. It was Las Vegas a couple years ago. Two things about being there in person: The sound is amazing. Everyone wears earmuffs, even way up in the stands. And the speed. Watching on TV takes away your perspective somewhat. When you're there in person, your perspective isn't distorted, and you really recognize how fast they're going.
Gee...and I'll bet someone claims that everyone was there to laud Donald. He is a petty piggy backer. But, that's politics, even down here.
Just to complete that a bit. Down here, if a Prime Minister made a formal appearance to the crowd, as opposed to just being one of the 'audience,' at a sporting event...they would be roundly booed...no matter what their politics were. We don't like our sporting events being used as a stage so some wanker politician can feather their nest.
auto racing is for rural snobs who like to pretend they're rednecks this is what the real rednecks do
