They are one of the very few that don’t allow refueling during a race. The other big boys do(Indy, NASCAR).

Sure it’s impressive in a sense, but they are right there with all the help they could possibly ever need. They pop off one large lug, pull off the tire, pop on the tire that’s right next to them, put one lug back on and they are gone. It’s not exactly the toughest pit stop in racing. I think that goes to some of the underclasses with only 4 guys to do everything, fuel, deal with driver, tires, tweaks to car, etc. The big boys have the fastest and easiest overall rules for pitting.

Funny enough, the pit times have been under 2 seconds in F1 for several years now(Red Bull beat the record 3 times in 2019 alone). Helps when you don’t refuel. In one race alone in 2013, the record was broken 6 times. That doesn’t sound too impressive to me honestly. Sounds like the easiest pit stop in the world, which doesn’t impress so much. Sounds good when you hear the numbers. When I watch one, I’m like, meh, that’s stupid easy for pro motor sports. I think if you took the NASCAR guys and gave them some F1 training they’d probably do just as well. After all, each person on the NASCAR team has much more to do than on an F1 team.

Trump might also take a lap in his presidential limo.

It’s only for four tires. No re-fueling is allowed during a race. Should check out the vid I posted, F1 has it super easy.

Grand Marsal, perfect. I'm not a NASCAR fan, but I think it's very cool that President Trump is participating.

Presidents are not allowed to drive. They are driven everywhere by Secret Service. Trump does have a car collection. It is impressive but not great.

    Okay, back to sports:

Ya I've heard the names, may have even seen them compete "Never was a name follower". The oil I've definitely heard of, use it in my old 91 ultra glide evo, all three holes, 60k and is still pretty quiet, well as quiet as a1990 Harleys with 60K can be :) My fat bob "103 CI" I just run old school HD oils, seems to make it quieter on the bottom end and MUCH softer thru the gears, way less clunk into 1st, THICKER longer in my experience, but Lucas deserves it's props too!

And it’s more fun than marching in front of Los Angeles City Hall with a Mexican flag, demanding “rights” for illegals.

Nothing sounds as distinctive as a Harley, potato, potato, potato.

Top Fuel dragsters are the quickest accelerating (and loudest) racing cars in the world and the fastest sanctioned category of drag racing, with the fastest competitors reaching speeds of 335 miles per hour (539 km/h) and finishing the 1,000 foot (305 m) runs in 3.64 seconds. Here are some fuel facts.

    * One Top Fuel dragster 500 cubic-inch Hemi engine makes more horsepower (11,000 HP) than the first 4 rows at the Daytona 500 (very loud but more of a roar).

    * Under full throttle, a dragster engine consumes 11.2 gallons of nitro methane per second; a fully loaded 747 consumes jet fuel at the same rate with 25% less energy being produced.

I really do I love the sound of a Harley and would have loved to have owned one. I liked riding motorcycles but dumped a couple smaller bikes as a teen and decided I'd probably live a lot longer hot rodding in cars.

Broke my right femur in five places, traction for 3 months, body cast for three months and crutch's for the time in the cast and three months after is was removed..

Changing a tire{s} too fast can also be a mistake.Forgetting
one of the lug bolts.Or not tightening down enough. You know
    a galsy mistake.

It's a fun way to wreck the environment on a small-scale. That being said, I love riding quad-runners.

Four tires. No fuel. They haven't refuelled in F1 in many many years. They start the race with full tanks.

That is pretty funny, a guy born and raised in the Bronx, made his fame in Manhattan, who probably couldn't tell the difference between a Daytona car and open wheel racer even if he was looking at them, is now going to pass himself off as a good ole boy, and the good ole boys are going to eat it up

Too bad, NASCAR has been attempting to get away from its redneck image, to extend its appeal in light of faded ratings, and now this ain't goin help

Jeezus! Do you ever stop and think that he may have been invited? It wouldn't surprise me at all. Nascar has been patriotic for a long time.

Probably was invited, or, put it to NASCAR in a way that he should be invited, we all know he loves to leverage his office to get what he wants. Just saying, given the choice, in their current situation, I don't think they would prefer to become identified as partisan to a particular political view

And forget the NASCAR "has been patriotic for a long time," waving the flag or using it on your merchandizing does make it or anyone patriotic
