Do you know how deep they need to go? We got surprised (and so did the well driller) when we built in PA. Driller thought we would have to go 300-400 feet (if my memory serves), using our neighbors as an example.

I witched the well with copper wires. We hit our water at 200+. :)

    Countdown to the rum cake.

Ive been working on a gift for Valentines Day. I was thrilled I finished early and it dried. I was so happy I found a nice box for it and got beautiful paper, ribbon and even tissue paper.
I thought we had tape. I looked everywhere. The only tape I found was Duct tape, black electrical tape and green painters tape. So I had some round stickers for envelopes and they are silver. The paper has silver so, 1+1=16 stickers later...wala.

If you could read my mind love.....
......we probably never would have lasted this long.

I swear I just heard my mom say,
    "You made your bed."
"Dont worry about it. Go make dinner. You'll calm down."
"Give her a few minutes to calm down. She will. If you talk to her now, forget it." Said with one hand flipped up in the air to wave it off while walking away.

    The surrounding wells are 400-500’.
It all depends on how the granite is fractured. Each fracture the well passes through contributes water. More fractures=more production. It’s a gamble.

Im not too worried about it. Im sure by Monday I'll probably be on cloud 7.

Valentines Day has always been my favorite holiday. I like the fact there is a day dedicated to love. Im planning on cutting myself a chunk of that rum cake and watching a Hallmark Valentines movie. Thing about those Hallmark movies is if you step away from the TV at the 1:45 mark you miss the turmoil because by the 1:55 mark they moved into the happy ending part.

    Happy Valentines Day, Foolie.

Yes,and the same to you. However no need for flowers and candy.
Material goodies like candy make for a happy dentist.
I wonder how many flowers a Dentist gets today.
    Or a Dock Worker.Maybe a candlestick maker.

This is by no means some kind of daily protocol by me.
I was brought up to be a Little Gentleman having been enrolled at an
    Actual Charm School { or Dancing school as a Grade schooler }
    Twice a month on Fridays.
However that kind of stuff really don't matter once in public.
I found out the hard way in College.Where there was No Charm.
It was all Fraternities and Sororities and being in a Clique.
Charm had little to no meaning.I lost my Freshman girlfriend to
that Frat mentality.I snared her thru my wit and charm.
Therefore over the decades I became more and more enlightened
as to what I was taught as far as being a little gentleman. The lesson
being ... Do so at yer own peril. It won't amount to squat.
Therefore my snarky attitude on and about Valentines Day.
If someone can cite for me a *St.Valentine, then maybe I'll buy
a few rounds and sign some chickee Poohs dance card.
Until then ... Fug it !

    * Okey Dokey I guess I'll have to buy myself my own round of
drinky Pooh and maybe sign my own dance card and see about
them Chicks another night. One less cluttered with flowers, candy
    and sweet talk.

Went to bed kinda early.Watched the first segment of
Hannity and said ... Fug it.Plus Maddow was her usual self.
    Playing politics.
I noticed not a lot of hoopla this year during Valentine Day week.
    Kind of like the Superbowl.
I think some americans are on pins and needles enough as it is.
I distinctly remember the first time my Old man broke down and
bought flowers for me Mom.It was on their Anniversary. My Dad was like
    in his early 70's.The Family was gathered at my Parents Private { member only }
    club.On the 30th floor.Overlooking the Big City.
My Mother loved Roses as she was a member of her local garden club
and grew flowers { Roses et.al. }.She made the comment that Finally
after all these years " Your Father got me Flowers ". Which proved to me
that Flowers alone cannot make a marriage.,In fact it's merely a token.
Of appreciation.I don't know. When doctors can finally read heartstrings
    maybe that might help.Maybe not.
Happy Valentines day { belated as it be } and don't load up on them
chocolates.Like Jean Harlow in - Dinner at Eight - while awaiting her
clandestine doctor's call. She was funny that a way.So was her mate
Wallace Berry who had about as much a sense of humor as a
    Clam awaiting it's first tattoo.

I have to confess that I like Roses.Have a rose bush that each year
has maybe a hundred flowers.Probably because it survived like
3 decades.I trim off the Rose flowers and let dry out and harden.
I usually place them in a few very small ornate vases and around
    my Catholic stuff.
