    So Obama is taking credit for a crap economy? Sweet! Why couldn't he be that honest while he was still president? That stuff aside, though, considering that credible economists are in agreement that the economy is roaring, your argument is patent nonsense. The economy is great and Trump made it happen.

    But what you don't want to accept is, it's easy to count jobs created when 8.8 million jobs were suddenly lost :) It takes real growth to create job at an unemployment level that is traditionally viewed as FULL EMPLOYMENT :)

    Please continue to ignore those conditions, it really is quite amusing ;)

    The left simply can not enjoy prosperity! The idea of people not tethered to the government is absolutely terrifying because they know with prosperity comes independence and the release from the Government/democrat gold on them...

    But every POTUS does this mess.

    The condition of the economy at election times is what matters to the election, not who is responsible for it. It's why this economy will take Trump back into the WH for 4 more.

    Trump didnt hit the 3% GDP even after the sugar rush of a tax cut which resulted in a growing deficit during a growing economy.

    That gets dismissed because it is some truly vague and indefensible bullshit.

    Cutting regulations resulted in the economy growing at a rate roughly equal to the previous economy when the regulations were there? Wow.

    Essentially what you've argued is that trump's ability to create jobs was limited by Obama being too successful at creating jobs in his last 3 years.

    He took credit for setting the country on a decade long track record of success, not for trump's decision to blow up the deficit in a growing economy just so trump could also make the trade deficit worse and fail to meet even his 3% GDP growth promise.

    That's because a different set of con handlers are telling you to ignore the fact that trump inherited a growing economy and a shrinking trade deficit, unemployment, and deficit and that the only trend that he changed in any significant fashion was the deficit and the trade deficit - by completely reversing the trend line and making both worse.
