What he understands is learning and change.
Something a lot of people here want to ignore.

Yes, agriculture today is on the cutting edge of technology and information. We’ve been dealing with self driving vehicles, sub inch repeatable GPS guidance, constantly variable rate applications of seed, chemicals, and fertilizer etc. for years. Planting corn, which Bloomberg references as digging a hole consists in reality of 12 to 48 row implements moving at up to 7 mph that can place seed at an accurate depth in uneven ground and heavy residue. Each row unit must deliver 15-20 seeds per second at the average historical planting speed of 5 mph. Every seed is counted in real time and seeding rates are constantly adjusted based on the production potential of the soil and water availability in that exact microclimate. You are correct, drilling wheat has become almost as complex as planting corn.

I’m sure many in that room with Mike could be taught to farm. But it would take years and I can guaran-dam-tee you Mike wouldn’t be the teacher. :)

You still haven't gotten it. Which Blue State has a majority black population? Look at the vote totals on this 2016 map = https://www.nytimes.com/elections/2016/results/president Additional black votes may have made a difference in North Carolina and in Florida. They would not have made a difference in the other States. Southern black votes are important in the primaries but lose their value in the general election in most States.

No microchip on that. Takes good eyes, good hands, good judgement. Got to be able to safely operate a 20 ton bridge crane to load and unload the parts.

You're not going to sit down for 8 hours except lunch and breaks. But they're going to pay you well because most machinists are afraid of the thing. It's all raw skill.

They could make a CNC lathe that big, but few businesses could afford it.

There are states where it could make a difference, plus it puts the dems on defense-as if they needed another challenge.

    You just made his point.
“Now comes the information economy and the information economy is fundamentally different because it’s built around replacing people with technology and the skill sets that you have to learn are how to think and analyze, and that is a whole degree level different,”

As I said before, additional black votes could have easily swung the victory to LCH in North Carolina and in Florida. She would have won the Presidency in that case. Their votes are irrelevant in the general election in the other States. Their votes are important in the primaries.

You don't "make" a pig do anything. Lead them out with your feed bucket. Just make sure the feed in the bucket smells better than sweet potato. I am a voter. You lure me out with an offer that makes sense for me. No matter how much money you spend you will never "make"me vote for Bloomberg.

You still have to understand all about how it was done when Little Alice was in the fields -- the good, the superlative, the bad, and the ugly.

Nina Turner: black people are "expendable" to the Democratic party and are being "taken for granted"

Why would you buy a relic that a human runs when you could have an automated one where you never heard the word oops! :)

Depends if you make parts for oil fields and ship builders or if your business is making pee-wee parts.

Besides, CNC's are well known for crashing, and the crash is physical, too.

First you hear "Man, are you all right?" Then you hear "How much is this going to cost and when can we have it back up?" Next you hear "It cut the beeswax fine but went snakeshat on the 9th part."

Your gratuitous remarks prove and amount to nothing...

Blaming Gary Johnson is a joke, a lame crutch. You know as well as I do she was an awful candidate and then she sealed her doom by running on Obama's failed policies. That's primarily why she lost. That's why she couldn't generate enough support across the electorate and get Lefties to the polls to vote for her, and then there's the disgruntled Sandersistas who wouldn't vote for her...

I get that politicians on both side of the aisle have to be selective where they campaign, Captain Obvious. That's a revelation to no one, but I'd be glad to see the Dem nominee not campaign in states like Virginia that are in play this year.

They might but that's pure speculation and you've given me no reason to believe Dems will win Texas, Wisconsin., Michigan and Pennsylvania. They'll be lucky to flip NC and Florida.

That guarantees nothing, especially amongst Independents.

As I mentioned earlier, Trump is leading everyone but Biden in Virginia and that matchup is within the margin of error.

And Dems may not do that and you'll have Trump getting re-elected...

And that boys and girls is why everything is being automated. Including farming.

Not surprising you’re not a fan of evidence to back up ones claim. Carry on.

You don't automate because it's fun. You automate to make more money.
If you want to make a couple of wood bowls in your garage, by all means go manual.

What does politics have to do with me asking someone in this thread to back up his claim?
I don’t give two craps what happens to Bloomberg.

The Dem candidate does not have to win Virginia. It would be nice to win it but it is not necessary if the States that went Blue in 2016 stay Blue and if the Dem wins North Carolina and Florida. Game over!!!!

Why do refuse to see that LCH won the Blue States by large margins? States like Oklahoma, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, iNorth and South Dakota, Kansas are irrelevant to the Dem candidates in the general election. They don't matter!!!

Like proving vanilla is better than chocolate?
Not possible, and a silly request.
