You should take that message to Donald Trump - hundreds of other energy sector experts tried to tell him that and yet he still promised to bring back Coal and pushed multiple policies explicitly with the design of bailing out Coal companies.

He did his best, short of subsidizing coal to compete with vast supplies of very cheap NG.. I don't care, they use cheap NG means my utilities are cheap.. Coal miners have been riding this roller coaster for along time, hopefully they were compensated and many (Union) took early retirements..

Yes the dems, they were 4 years into complete control of Congress when it hit.

hahba the stimulus act??? Haha haha the bill that paid off his donors? Hahah

the economy didn’t start turning around until after the dems got an historic butt beating at all levels of Govt and were able to slow down and finally undo the horrible policies of the left

Still a very, very dumb take. The global financial crisis was global and was built on the backs of decades of investment and mortgage defaults - not 4 years of Democratic Congressional Policies and not reversed by 2 years of Republican Congressional Policies.

And yes, the stimulus act set off 10 years of economic growth.

Bet you didn't know there's a Turtle Tunnel.
The 13-foot tunnel under U.S. Rte. 27 in Lake Jackson, Fla., -- you might call it the Turtle Tunnel because it primarily designed for turtles that are frequently killed as they cross the highway -- is one of 100 stimulus projects targeted in a report released Tuesday by Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla., a leading critic of the $787 billion stimulus plan passed by Congress.

I've see you many times try, but it's always a fiction based argument with you refusing even "VIDEO" of the top democrats stating their was NOTHING to worry about that the housing market and lending institutions were in no danger LMFAO :)

Now would be a good time to write your rep and senators and tell them to cut spending.

I'd write mine but they're Democrats and I know they won't.

The Debt Crisis? Democrats.. starting back with Carter and enforced by Clinton Admin.. demanded banks make loans to people who couldn't pay them.. Bush tried to intervene, but Barney Frank shut that down. Portfolio investors bundled these "bad" loans and traded them until everyone figured out they were next to worthless (and in fact many of them had liabilities).. and viola! you have the October Surprise of that Presidential election year!

We hit double digit UE because of republican incompetence.

YouTube videos don't change reality, or the congressional voting record, which I've provided a hundred times in dozens of threads. Republicans killed EVERY.....SINGLE.....BILL attempting to address the problem from 2001-2007.

Nope the GOP was out of power and had been for years. It was a direct result of four years of dems failed policies
