Trump's tweets, no matter the unsophisticated language, allows Trump to get his message out to the people. The media is prone to just criticize him or report anything that will make him look bad. Good for Trump for going around the press and dealing directly with the public. That is driving the press wild because they want to be the only entity to "report to the public". The media has a right to "speak out" and Trump has a right to "speak out". And they don't have to agree. But at least we hear both sides and more info is better than less info.
100% on the opposite here, I hate his tweets. I don't mind the whole bypass the media aspect of it, I DO mind the tone of his tweets, and the misspellings, lack of editing.
His tweeting is not 'driving the press wild'...it is providing unprecedented fodder for their own reporting. And, like @Spim, I don't mind him bypassing the media at all. I am, however, offended by the lack of intelligence, grammar, spelling, self awareness and humility that has become the new standard for POTUS.
I'm a HUGE trump fan but also a HUGE hater of his tweets. Can he at least hire a twitter admin to keep his tweets accurate?
Put me down for "love his tweets" and I don't even read all of them. Little secret here.. don't let any dems know, but tweets are his best weapon, without them, we wouldn't know a 1/10th of what we now know. I voted for him because unlike all my previous choices in Republican Presidential Elections, he punches back when his and by extension, his supporters, are attacked. Romney playing the principled gentleman, McCain the principled war vet, Bush, the principled Noble were just more members of the club of Elites, The Elites say "be nice, don't fight back , and we will allow you Club membership";
Although I do not have a twitter account I am in 100% in agreement. It was Trump's tweets that put him in office. I am positive half of them are just trolling the lefties. I do wish he had a couple of "tweet monitors" that would at least be required to push the send button.
From the beginning they've made me cringe and I'd think "oh what's gotten himself into now" and they can still, sometimes, make me cringe.. but I no longer question them, because everyone of them have , eventually, worked to his advantage.
Getting his message out is fine. Getting in the gutter, trading childish insults with the lunatics who insult him, is not.
We thought you all were better than that. That is the only real shock in any of this. We thought you were better people, But we get it. You're not!
Trumps tweets are pure Trump. Ask him a question and you will get an answer. Attack him and he will hit you with a tweet. Best of all he hits back plus his policies are helping the country better than any other president in our lifetime.
