Are you saying that Hillary Clinton sending classified material to Huma Abedin's husband's computer, when she knew that Huma's brother and mother resided at the apartment and had access to the computer, and that they were Saudi citizens and members of the Muslim Brotherhood is minutia?

Frankly I consider it treasonous and I'm sure the courts would to if it ever gets there? Yet you want to condemn Assange for revealing our government's actions when he's not an American citizen and has every right to do so. Unbelievable!

 

What if the penalty was not mild? I can't see why it would make any difference if the penalty is mild - why would that make him not fear being extradited to the US?

 

I don't reduce political arguments to conspiracies or unverifiable
minutia of private lives.
You can commit a crime against another nation without being a
citizen of that nation - ie Osama bin Laden.
And not just revealing secrets, but revealing sources and stealing
documents.

 

Oh then the New York City police were lying and didn't go into Weiner's computer, and there wasn't classified information from Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, and Weiner's wife Huma is not Saudi Arabian and her brother and mother are not members of the Muslim Brotherhood, and they didn't live in that apartment?

I cut my teeth on politicized issues during the Vietnam War.
(The American War, not the Cambodian 1 and 2 wars, or
the China 1 and 2 wars)
The minutest detail of someone's life was put on display
(a corrupt official for instance) but the broader issue of the
Soviet and Maoist backed push into Asia was never on the
radar.
So we saw images of some rich woman burning money in
the street, but not a lot on the massive rail and shipping of
tanks, planes and munitions to North Vietnam.

I would have voted Clinton over Trump. But anyone going
on about her emails would not have fazed me, or a president
tripping on the steps of a plane or a contender plagiarizing
someone's work. That's not information, it's fog.
