Is a virgin woman who likes men a heterosexual? Is a virgin woman who is attracted to women a heterosexual? Similar arguments for virgin men or males?

I've known folk for years who still call me by a version of my name that I don't use - despite having been gently corrected. It doesn't matter. I know what my name is, and demanding that others adhere to my vanities, purely for my own narcissistic reasons, and at their discomfort, would just make me an ********.

How others see us is not a function of our demand, it's a function of their will. We have very little control over it. The very best we can hope for is a negotiated compromise, and even that is never going to be consistent.

"Virtually everyone" else calls medical care "healthcare"; that doesn't make into healthcare. Healthcare is comprised of diet, exercise and rest. medical care is only required if health fails. In fact, the vast majority of medical care that is provided, in the USA, is needed because of a lack of healthcare on the patient's part. Using the correct words the correct way allows one to think correctly. Gender is genetic; sex is as sex does.

You can't have gender with a woman and no definition given here indicates that is so; you're twisting. You may have had intercourse with a woman. Sex, in this context, is a commonly accepted, even if relatively new, form of the word. Your definitions, though, are not backed up by anything except your own ignorance.

 

Lots of generalizations there. For the most part is not for everyone. Where's the inclusiveness in that? According to the left, people are what they say they are. Like some here that think their definitions are the right definition because they say it is. Imagine if I have 1200 dollars in my bank account and write a check for 1100. The next day I write another check for a thousand. I tell my bank I'm not overdrawn because, to me, 1200 - 1100 = 1100. I get to say what is and it doesn't have to match what you say it is.

If a transsexual woman (born as a man) wants to be a lesbian and have sex with women, why would trans men have any right to be worried about that person's choice?

I have the answer: They're hypocrites and all they really want to do is force the world to accept their lifestyle as normal and as legitimate as my grandparents who were married as virgins, stayed married for 75 years until my grandmother died and 7 years later my grandfather.

You don't classify biology by its rare exceptions. A whale might be born with two tails. That doesn't make ambiguous the number of tails whales have as a species.

 

Gender describes the association between sex and language in languages that have different pronunciations based on the sex they are referring to. Gato, Gata are examples of gendered nouns. Male cat, female cat. Words don't have a sex. They have a gender.

 

The entire point of nouns like male and female is to be exclusive. The entire point of generalization is to be broadly inclusive.

Why does it bother you so much that a man thinks he's a woman or vise versa? While I believe a man is a man and a woman is a woman, I don't give a rats @55 if someone chooses to believe they are the opposite sex. Their belief does not directly impact my life one bit. Seems you might have too much free time on your hand to be bothered by such things.

Why does it matter if a person thinks they are a horse?

It matters because that person is in pain and suffering. Simply humoring the belief does not affect the real and perceivable reality that the person is not a horse. We can cosmetically change the person to look like a horse, but still they are not a horse. It bothers people because they know that people are suffering and don't believe that the creation of a fantasy will alleviate that pain and any real and lasting way.

People who have lived through transition agree with me. Transition is a mask that covers up the pain.
