He is the chief law enforcement officer and the commander in chief of the military. You see something sinister in his acknowledgment of that?

Civics should be mandatory in public school as it used to be when the states controlled education. After the feds got involved Civics was dropped as a required course. An educated voter isnt what politicians in DC want. For they would have cleaned out DC long ago when those treasonous bastards sold our republic to the rich bastards who owe no allegiance to any nation . Same kind of people who tried to stage a coup against fdr when fdr put this nation above the profits of our elites. A group of elites who called themselves fascists and were proud of it!

Not entirely accurate. Obama only commuted the 35 year sentence of the traitor. He/she/it should have been put to death for treason.

Pardoning for speaking out the truth?
Hey man, we are living in 2020, not the 1960s or 70s.
    Let us wait and see....

You confuse me: "Pardoning for speaking out the truth?" I get that part loud and clear but I'm not sure what you mean by, "we are living in 2020, not the 1960s or 70s". It seems to me that the crap-ass situation today resembles that the 1960's although there was some respite from madness during the 1970's when things had got much, much better. Today is a god-awful relapse of the 1950's and 1960's with Operation TP Ajax (now fake WMD's) and Joseph McCarthy (now Hillary Clinton).

Jobs? Why have a job when instead you could have Free Stuff? Free Stuff is free, you know - it doesn't cost anyone a dime - it just materialises as if by magic.

Obama claimed that he, as President of the United States, had Prosecutorial Discretion. He used that claim to decide who would, and would not, be prosecuted for what crimes. He used that as justification implementing new law bypassing the Legislative process. Did you complain about that?

President Trump claims that he is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in this country. You actually see a problem with that? Interesting!!!!

Contrary to what President Obama stated, Article II, Section 3 Clause 5 states that the President "shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed". That would mean that President Obama was clearly wrong, and President Trump is right. Normally the AG is considered to be the Chief Law Enforcement Officer, but the AG works for the President of the United States.

And what are your thoughts of Obama exercising his power of pardoning and commuting sentences?

Afterall, Obama commuted 1,715 prison sentences and pardoned 212 according to DOJ statistics. He commuted more sentences than any other President in U.S. history!

Including commuting the sentence of Chelsea Manning, a traitor of the U.S., who put American lives in danger with nearly half a million military documents stolen and released. Where is your outrage?

Also commuting the sentence of Oscar Lopez Riveria, responsible for over 130 bombing attacks in a bid to make Puerto Rico an independent Communist nation. Outrage???

Obama also pardoned James Cartwright who pled guilty of lying to the FBI about classified leaks relating to Iran. Again where is your outrage?

Also why the outrage on Roger Stone and Rod Blagojevich, when leftist criminals go untouched? Clinton, McCabe, Comey, Schiff, Brennan, Strzok...guessing you don't care about that swamp do you? Or your definition of " swamp"is REALLY flawed .....

Trump is busy making the country great and exposing the blatant liberal hypocrisy. While the do nothing Democrats conduct sham investigations and a BS impeachment, doing nothing for the American people.

Dirty Donalds comments contradict what Alexander Hamilton said when he said the justice department was independent of both the execute and legislative branches. his words as follows, "there is no liberty, if the power of judging be not separated from the legislative and executive powers."

Good think cops aren't judges then..

The worst thing we could possibly have is law enforcement agencies with no accountability.

You're interpretation of Hamilton's quote is not what you think. This was actually talking about the Judicial branch of government, so your quote is right but wrong context. Hamilton thought it essential to the American form of government that the judiciary would serve as the guardian or enforcer of the Constitution, sitting on silent watch to ensure that the other two branches stayed within the parameters of the Constitution. This is NOT referencing the Department of Justice which serves under the EXECUTIVE branch.

Per the CONSTITUTION, the President is the chief law enforcement officer, that is fact. Also, the Constitution states the president has the duty to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed" an obligation he obviously could not perform if his subordinate law-enforcement officials were to be somehow "independent" of his authority.

He has the right if he feels a law is unfair to address it as in the case of Rod Blagojevich and Roger Stone. Stone's trial was unfair with a biased judge and a tainted jury, Trump has yet to interfere with that case but if he chooses to pardon Stone it is his right to do so. Also pardoning Blagojevich for what he felt was an outrageous sentence was within his right and protected by the Constitution.
