Dirty Donald tweeted out again, in all CAPS, that he may have to give more financial socialist aid to our nations farmers who have suffered because of his tariffs, until his new trade deals with Canada, Mexico and China kick in.He did not specify how much aid he had in mind on top of the already $28 Billion he previously awarded.Amazing how socialistic we can get at times when it suits the ruling class.

No price is evidently too high to buy those farm votes.

Meanwhile we have hundreds of thousands of American citizens, including veterans, who are homeless and starving.

Just trying to point out the hypocrisy we practice when it suits the objective of the ruling class//Evidently directed socialism to fulfill beneficial goals is fine in the eyes of the right wing.

If you think giving money to farmers is socialism, then you don't know what socialism is.

Socialism would be nationalisation of all farms and industries.

When it was necessitated by BAD GOVERNMENT policy, namely the tariffs. Isn't bailing out the farmers with tax dollars the same as nationalizing them.We inflicted damage on them by bad government policy now we are requiring the collective to rectify governments mistakes.

    Don't be silly.

Nationalising them means confiscation of the farms.
Giving money to shore up an industry is capitalistic, not socialistic.

So shoring up business is acceptable, but shoring up individual citizens is not, in your eyes????

    Yes.

One is vital to society, the other is disposable and easilly replaced.
    Sad, but true.

I’d need to see where the money is actually going. I suspect the majority is being funneled to large corporate entities rather than what we envision to be “farmers”.

When we bailed out the auto industry in 2007-8-9 there at least was a half hearted attempt to repay the loans.

Despite the supposed $28 Billion in farm bailouts, farm bankruptcies in 2019 were at an 8 year high.

Great! We cant put farmers at risk due to collateral damage of taking on communist china that both parties on behalf of our elites disemboweled our people in the greed driven self interests of those elites profitting over the managed decline of my fellow American workers.

I come from generations of farmers before the family farms werw strategically destroyed by the usual suspects . Back in the heyday of fdr economics we grew 500 acres of cotton for the textile industry. Yes we used to make textiles and most other consumer goods here in America employing our own people instead of communists . Hard to believe . lol

Anyways to keep farmers growing cotton we would get paid by govt to plow up a given acreage so there was not an over supply of cotton which would have dropped the price too low to remain in business. By not over producing cotton farmers could make a living growing the essential cotton for clothing. Food crops were treated the same way. It was a good idea to do this for some things like food demands stability in supply or people can starve . And this was back when the founding philosophy of our founders was still in place .That a nation should be self sufficient in the interest of security and employing your own people since we all need income to live.

Anyways this is the principle trump is using with those farmers and is what my old party of fdr would have done once upon a time pre Clinton.

But this isnt socialism at all For the private sector owns the farms and does the work. It is the way we save capitalism . And we would not have to save it if our govt had not allowed our rich to disembowel America for greater wealth for themselves.

So winning is bailing out our farmers to the tune of far more than it cost to bail out the auto industry, and still counting???SOMEWIN!!!!

If the $28 BILLION already spent had gone to poor farmers why would 2019's farm bankruptcies be at an 8 year high????
