    Why are we in Iraq?

According to Kataib Hezbollah spokesman Jaafar al-Hosseini, the American forces are surrounded by the resistance groups in Iraq and cannot leave their bases and must travel by helicopter from one base to another.

“Many people are not aware that now the Americans are fully surrounded in Iraq because they cannot traffic in Baghdad streets and they cannot go from one base to another but by helicopters,” al-Hosseini said in an interview with the Arabic-language al-Mayadeen news channel on Tuesday night.

“The US merely understands the language of force,” al-Hosseini said.

    Re:
American troops are staying in Iraq for the same reason they were sent there in the first place.

Israeli lobbies in America want them there:

“QUIETLY LOBBYING CONGRESS TO APPROVE THE USE OF FORCE IN IRAQ WAS ONE OF AIPAC’S SUCCESSES OVER THE PAST YEAR.”

AIPAC Executive Director Howard Kohr; N.Y. Sun, Jan. 2003

Nuke the bastards—it will at least teach them the true meaning of “force”, as well as give some reality to their propaganda.

Then you don't believe in the sovereignty of nations? Do you feel that way towards Israel's sovereignty as well?

How can invading other nations and going against the will of the majority of the people living there, be bringing them democracy? Isn't that an oxymoron?

U.S. Forces are in Iraq because Iraq invaded, raped and pillaged Kuwait, got their ass kicked out and beat down by Coalition forces. Then Iraq proceeded to violate the ceasefire agreement they signed to stop said beat down. Repeatedly.

How quick the left tried to turned Iraq from aggressor to victim by trying to revise history is typical leftist B.S.

And these terrorist fools trying to grandstand about having U.S. Forces surrounded...what utter fake chest pounding garbage.

Go watch videos of the fall of Saddam. Watch the people you speak about. Tell me that’s not liberation.
Tell me they don’t have more democracy than they did under his regime.

Oh, I believe in a nation’s sovereignty, a free nation’s. Dictatorships have no sovereignty, just corpses and cemeteries. Ask Putin. He has first hand knowlwdge.

Because if we pull out of Iraq, the Trump haters will pounce with "He's abandoning our allies!" like they did when he pulled troops out of Syria.

It's amazing how fast the left makes the heel turn from peaceniks to bloodthirsty warhawks when Trump starts pulling out troops.

Cause Bush thought he could covert the middle east to Christianity... how many more trillions do we need to spend there, how many more American lives lost

Bush thought he could start a Crusade and he was on a mission from God

Christians have as much chance of converting Muslims via force as Muslims have of converting Christians via force ... just never gonna happen

    WTH are you babbling about?

You do recall the Invasion of Kuwait by Iraq? The ceasefire? The violation of that ceasefire?

Just going to ignore those historic facts and push your “concept” instead?

I don't think Bush was trying to convert Muslims, his mistake was thinking they were sane, rational people.

your showing your bias, there are crazy Christians and crazy Muslims.... most on both sides are just normal people trying to live their lives

that said, at this time in history, Muslims are king of the hill on crazy fanatics, Christians been there, done that and they may switch places yet again, who knows

if a Muslim leader did to America what Bush did to Iraq, would we convert or fight back.... you can bet we would fight back and not just Christians... Americans would all fight back in anyways possible, for as long as posible

Yeah, some Christian Crusade. The Talmud noahide laws that Bush I signed as being universal are one and the same with sharia. This is why we supported the terrorists in Syria, even though they were killing Christians on an average of 300 a day. The intent was to change Syria from a secular and all inclusive society, into a Saudi sharia one. This is why the Syrians have been putting their lives on the line to fight it.

    were talking about Bush jr

not all Christians support a religious war, just like not all Christians supported Hitler's attack on the Jews - the ones that do are the problem

same with the Muslims that support a crusade on Christians

My guess is there would be areas of high Muslim settlement that would fight for the Jihadists. Not all Muslims are the same but not all Americans are either. I would not trust the peaceful nature of Islam if put to the test. Hopefully it will remain a hypothetical.

What history, care to be a bit more specific?

While your at it address the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, the raping of that country and then the violations of the ceasefire signed by Iraq which resulted in the 2nd U.S. invasion into Iraq.

Tie that into your holy war theory please.

Here's a foreign video of a speech by General Wesley Clark. It's very interesting and informative!

The one thing I remember well was the threats about a mushroom cloud.
I guess they were talking about a dust storm.
