Clint Eastwood Ditches Donald Trump for Mike Bloomberg in 2020 Election

    Longtime Republican Clint Eastwood is pulling support from Donald Trump in the 2020 election. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, the actor-director signaled that he thinks a different candidate would be the better choice.

    “The best thing we could do is just get Mike Bloomberg in there,” he said.

    While he approves of “certain things” the president has done, he wishes that he would act “in a more genteel way, without tweeting and calling people names. I would personally like for him to not bring himself to that level,” he said.

    That would violate forum policy, and I might be In The Line Of Fire for that...

    I say again, LONG Time Republican Clint Eastwood...

    Will not support the current candidate of the party, and I think he was there when the party was created....

    I'm waiting for Melania to declare for Lizzy Warren...

    Actually a great number of Trump supporters feel that way about Trump . . . or do you never actually read any of these postings on the subject? I myself find Bloomberg tempting simply because he is a very successful businessman and because Trump does have very irritating habits.

    Even Clint can't drag Bloomberg over the line.

    He would lose BIG, if nominated, b/c the Bernie People would sit it out.

    Bloomberg was not in the early debates & I have no idea of his views on the real issues.

    Anyone knows.... please respond....

    Does he favor Medicare for all, including illegals?

    Does he support free college for all including illegals & student loan forgiveness ?

    Anyone know where he stands in those issues?

    His campaign adds that I have seen do not address the issues.

    If that were to happen, I would probably have less respect for "Bernie people" than I do for repeat Trump supporters..

    And that's a very low bar...

    It's all hands on deck in 2020...

    Hey, if you have been keeping up with any of the "Vitriolic Online Chatter", according to the Bernie People:

    If Bloomberg gets the Nom. they are going to leave the party.

    They would rather trash the party and help Trump win again, than vote for Bloomberg.

    Bloomberg is a poor man's Trump and Bernie would be equivalent to the dumpster.

    I hope Bernie gets the nomination and loses to Trump because that would mean full control for the Republicans in the House/Senate/Executive Branch for at least 2 years, maybe more. Get rid of the endless coup attempts and work on real issues that affect Americans.

    Trump is great for prosperity so I want it to continue, despite his annoying habits. I am guessing Clint Eastwood ends up voting for Trump.

    Why doesn't Bernie just run as an Independent and take all of his voters and money with him? He could start the "revolution" he has been calling for , for so long.

    Technically, he is an Independent. He shouldn't even be allowed to run as a Democrat unless he switches officially to that party.
