Gender is binary. Sex is a verb.

My original comment that it's nobody's business, the notion transgenders just want to do their thing and be left in peace, was the following:

these people do not want to be left alone, they want you to call them a man, when they are a woman, and men want to shower with your daughter, or they will sue you in a court of law.

Some of these people want to drag us into their personal lives, and force us into compliance. So it's not just people wanting to live their private lives, and asking the rest of society to leave them alone in peace.

It's still my point. These trans gender people do not want to be left alone. They enjoy assistance from deep pockets activist groups like American Civil Liberties Union) with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights. So if you don't use proper pronouns and don't that the use the locker room gender of their choice, they sue you.

I don't care to quibble about how many cases actually win or lose. In some cases the defense lose and in others they win. Either outcome, people lose money defending against these lawsuits, and those who cannot afford to pay the legal fees will lose, and the activist machine uses these to set precedent, and force other people to comply or possibly go broke defending.

 

Oh puh-leeze NOBODY is making women accept men in their showers or raping anyone's daughter at the convenience and we both know it. What we have here is people who are just so GOD DAMMED bigoted that calling someone who looks even a little less than girlygirl ma'am is just so ****ing intolerable that they're willing to violate people's basic human right to be called by whatever name they choose over it. It seems a small enough thing to grant another human being but some people are just so tied up in their fanatic dogmatism that it really bothers them. Great, pay the fine, maybe if it costs them money they'll stop doing it

 

It's already happening in the UK, and somewhat in Canada. Worse, it's so poorly defined (some of the most dangerously ill-defined legislation ever to roll off a govt quill) that it will be abused beyond your wildest imaginings. Because as sure as eggs, that power to compel your speech will one day be in the hands of your enemies.

Be very careful ... always ... of what you wish for.
