This is why it's bad for leaders to lie so much they have lost all credibility. The Stable Genius stumbles through his assessment that all is well and don't you dare think otherwise. Nobody believes him or his agency heads. Washington has lost all credibility with most of the public leaving us to wonder, "What the hell is going on?"

This is the kind of development that separates the leaders from the fools.

Calm down. This virus popped up in something like three months. There are no cuts or additions to any government program that would have altered anything regarding this issue.
Trying to politicize an event like this is typical so you did not let us down.

Fake Don knows more about everything than anybody!

Fake Don is now whining because the threatened pandemic could expose the reality that the past 10+ years of US economic growth is not attributable to his divine rule, but is dependent upon a multiplicity of such diverse factors.

They could be angling for more funding. It is the government thing to do.

Folks from the CDC and the NIH have all made the claim that this virus is likely like the flu, and like the flu, with warmer temps, it goes away. But sure, you know better....

Actually, your post is kind of backwards. It was the dems screeching foul when President Trump suggested that the US should back out of our dependence on Chinese goods and resume manufacturing goods in this country.
Look like President Trump was right again.

I'll leave you this to ponder:
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...t-efforts-to-prevent-global-disease-outbreak/

CDC to cut by 80 percent efforts to prevent global disease outbreak

    Feb 1, 2018:

Countries where the CDC is planning to scale back include some of the world’s hot spots for emerging infectious disease, such as China, Pakistan, Haiti, Rwanda and Congo. Last year, when Congo experienced a potentially deadly Ebola outbreak in a remote, forested area, CDC-trained disease detectives and rapid responders helped contain it quickly.

This is one of trumps most egregious misunderstanding of economics. Sure, we can bring all production back here. I just hope no one you love is on a fixed income, poor, or disabled.

    https://www.nfid.org/2020/02/21/id-news-round-up-coronavirus/

William Schaffner, MD, NFID medical director, recognized the possibility of the virus dying out as warmer weather approaches, but quickly noted it’s likely too soon to know for sure. “COVID-19 is a respiratory virus, and if it behaves like other respiratory viruses, including influenza [flu], we might anticipate that it will abate as the weather gets warmer,” he said. But, he added, “It may become part of our usual cold and flu season.”

It has been postulated as a possibility but no one is saying probability. It's always best to be prepared for the worst but that's not something we've been very good at of late.

...because they might not be able to afford a big screen tv if it isn't produced with slave labor?

Not just big screen tvs - EVERYTHING. Look, you can't pay more for raw materials, supply lines, and labor and expect prices to not to go up.

Stop it. Oh no! The desperate attempts to politicize something completely out of the control of any president is divisive and as phony as your crumby party. :tombstone:
BTY, the CDC is funded for 7 billion. If that's not enough congress can grant more. If you listen to jerks like Schemer you are going to get nothing but lies. The sky isn't falling and there is nothing you or he can do about it if it does. Panic and over reaction is the worst possible course of action.

    and

Qasem Soleimani “American attack at Iraq airport kills revered Iranian military leader”

Yea, so are you going to comment on the actual article instead? Perhaps you think that WaPo predicted the corona virus and starting in China just so that they can criticize Trump 2 yeas later

I don't think Trump was saying ALL manufacturing was coming back to America. He was saying having most of our dependence concentrated in one place was a bad thing. I know that concept is hard to grasp but stick around as you will soon learn the stupidity of America's practices pre-Trump.
As for your questioning higher prices for things made in America, you obviously have not purchased a hamburger in a city with a mandated $15/hr wage.

I understand your confusion, trump has said a lot of things. If he doesn't even know what he thinks how can you?
As for your hamburger w/$15 hr min wage, extrapolate that over everything we import. I'm sure our economy would soar.
