That's a bloody damn brilliant idea! Certainly their results couldn't be any worse than what they are getting now.

The trouble is that the status quo has demonstrated the failings of capitalism, especially the unbridled and unregulated version as we have in this country today.

The many failures of the status quo in delivering any sort of equity for the common man make such promises very appealing.

Many people see cutting down the apple tree as the solution to getting to more apples.

Many young people have lived their entire lives under a socialist model; where everything has been provided for them by their parents. They are terrified at the prospect of self governance, and so tend to vote for surrogate parenting in the form of nanny-state government.

I would agree with you on this except history is on our side and we know how this cycle works and how capricious the electorate is. Armed with this knowledge there's much we can do about it and the reason is Trump. Trump is the oddest oddball in presidential history. He's beholden to no one or any party, he is an army of one and to date no one has figured him out or beat him at his game. The last fifty years in America has been absolute **** compared to where we could be without the millstone of ridiculous liberal politics and policies wrapped around our necks. All of that has changed and Trump was the catalyst. In spite of all the heartache and bullshit he's had to endure, he held the line and won every battle. Show me a Republican since Reagan that has done that. Even the wimpiest Republican has suddenly discovered their manhood and grown a set. What we now know from the events of the last three plus years is that the left/progressive/Democrat/communists are a bunch of bullies who have been exposed as pansies. In November 2016 Trump stood up to them and knocked them on their ass now it's our job to kick them while they're down, to place a boot on their throats and prevent them from ever getting up again. They've always had the hocus pocus of the media to make them appear fierce and righteous but as it turns out it was just bullshit. There has always been more of us than there has been of them and our numbers are growing every day. MAGA!!!

If the numbers are off to the same extent this time that they were in 2016, Trump is on his way to a landslide victory.
Polls say nothing more or less than what the pollster wants to say but can't defend.
In other words, polls are a way of saying something that you don't have to defend.

People who work for a living agree with sanders on several of his promises. .Plus he is strongly worker centic as socialists democratic socislists tend to be . Anyone who stands up for labor is a socislist. Lots of working people are numb to the word socialist.

That poll is moot given where we are in this cycle .

Sanders will take trump votes in Michigan , Wisconsin and other states hillary did not campaign in ..

If sanders pulls together the blue collar demo , the youthful socialists, black and hispanics he beats trump

If you support your criminal IMPOTUS the inevitable result will be the IMPOVERISHING of the middle class just like it is in Venezuela.

It's become obvious to everyone that despite his protestations Sanders is a closet communist. He doesn't stand a chance in the general election.

People who think Bernie Sanders is a Marxist have never read Marx.

Marx argued for the abolishment of the capitalist class. No owners of businesses and no landlords. Communist revolutions all mirrored that argument before taking power.

Bernie Sanders wants the capitalist class to pay more for social services for workers. How is that at all the same?

Since Marx his adherents have learned to tamp down tne Marxist rhetoric in order to gain power. They talk about worker rights and the evils of capitalism and taxing the rich to pay for programs for the poor. Mao is a good example of this and a good example of how taxing the rich quickly morphed into confiscation of wealth.

    Lol. Okay pal.

Mao most certainly did not have Bernie Sanders rhetoric. Nothing even close. He was a straight up Leninist 20 years before he took power and did nothing to hide that. He led an armed civil war before taking power. He didnt talk about taxing the rich more for social services. Nothing of the sort.

Maybe read a wiki page on Mao or something, before you say something so inaccurate.

Bernie has adjusted his rhetoric for the times we live in and the country we live in but he is a modern day Mao. When Mao took power people had no idea anyone who owned an acre or two would have most of their land confiscated and given to poor people to build their shacks on. Bernie wants the modern day equivalent of that.

"September 1920 Mao became principal of the Lin Changsha primary school, and in October he organized a branch of the Socialist Youth League there. "

    Sound familiar?

I fail to see the difference! We all know the burden on the capital class once started will never stop until they are reduced to commoners. They will slowly and steadily join the likes of the collective sucking them dry, and eventually their collapse!

    TADA, Marxist rule ;)

If you break down the polling data structure, the analytics actually point to a Trump/Pence win.

There is no telling where these people are residing which is a huge factor in and of itself.

If you look at how people responded to polling in 2016, you would tend to think that the 7% undecided block is much more likely to be leaning towards the incumbent.

You think Bernie Sanders is going to confiscate land from people? Lol. Okay.

Mao didn't even do what you said. He reorganized the land into collective farms. But I can see you are totally ignorant on the subject and just grasping at the fact they both use the word socialist. I can't have a conversation with you any more than I can have a conversation with the silly leftists who think Trump was going to be Hitler reincarnated because they both use the word nationalist.

Read about Mao. Actually learn something. Until then I'm out of this ridiculous conversation.

Every program Bernie wants he says tax the rich. Eventually the rich become middle class then whos left to tax? The middle class of course.

" Tax the rich feed the poor till their are no poor no more" and no rich either.
