You are the one who adds "touchy-feely", not me. Sanity, since you seem to lack a perception here, means the ability to see reality, address it, have an opinion that is based on the facts of it.
No fairy-tale imaginary miracles..... Calm, logical, thinks for herself. That doesn't make her qualified to be president, does mean she appears to be way above the rest of the dem pack.

Why do you always come across as angry in just about every post you make?

You know better of course. Rather you should ask why there is so much hostility in so many people's posts- insults, slander, disinformation, distortion of facts, and steadfast refusal to examine anything with an open mind. There will always be differences between people. Many will see their hostility as appropriate, and therefore not even recognize it as offensive. But when people approach others with hostility in the first place, they have laid down the rules for what is to follow. The fact they want others to apologize in response and then treat them as if they were respectful- is wrong.
Sadly, todays politics seem to revolve around scoring points against people rather than understanding issues. That tends to keep hostility on the table.

Treat me with respect, you will get respect. Make an ass out of yourself, be abusive- whether you know it or not- and you don't get respected.
Rational people, successful people, wealthy people, kind people, all are used to being attacked first and then blamed, because so many people today think every one else is responsible for making them happy.
It does get old, and patience does get thin.

She just seems like the type to me. I thought Trump was the type, though, and that hasn't panned out.

About 90% of federal government should be moved to the states, the private sector or the trash can. Small enough for you?

So you only want an answer to your liking? Well, personally, I admire her service, her professional manner (sorely lacking in Trump) The fact she was willing to square off with the establishment candidates (a very fierce presence on the debate stage) Her apparent non aggression to gun rights and her seeming rationality vs the others....last but not least, she's easy on the eyes (certainly "trumps" Trump) That said, we did not get to hear, much of her proposals. IMO, democrats re elected Trump by discounting her. Good KAG!

Better to question who is quiet on "endless wars"

Besides Gabbard only Andrew Yang dared mention it.

Right, like getting out of Vietnam was going to be the end of the world.
I'm 71 and don't need to hear the place is going to fall apart if we don't deploy.
Iraq would still be a "nation" had we not deployed. Same for Libya.

Well you are ignorant of what the Democratic Leadership does about it.
Deploy when in power and support deployments inherited.

Not ALL of the Democratic Party is pro-war, just as not ALL of the Republican Party is pro-war.

SOME people in both parties are very much pro-war.

Both the Bush/Cheney and Obama/Biden administrations were very pro-war. And in 2016, the Democrats ran Hillary Clinton for president, a person who never saw a war she didn’t like, and who defaulted to war if other nations didn’t obey the orders of the U.S. (Think Libya and Syria)

On the Republican side are people like Lindsey Graham and the late John McCain who believe that the U.S. must be at war at all times and that it is our right to police the world.

Do you remember what happened when Trump wanted to remove our troops from Syria?

Democrats went crazy. Essentially, they made it perfectly clear that they want our troops deployed there FOREVER.

    So ... there ya go.

Once again the American voters, especially including those women voters longing for a female POTUS, will reject the best choice they will ever have in their lifetime.

She may be good looking, but if you watch her workout videos you find out that she could kick the poo out of 99% of the population.

Per the first upload this thread
I guess the Conservatives are more against "foreign entanglements".

Sadly the Anti War Wing of the Democratic Party is silent.
Being near my age, 71, I would imagine Sanders & Warren were involved in Anti Vietnam activity. Yet both are so silent on the current war issues.

Oh I didn't forget about that at all. In fact I told you in my last post that Democrat and GOP positions had switched since 2011. What else did you think I meant? 2011 is the year we withdrew from Iraq.

That quote, "Do you really want to pull out of the ME so rapidly that we create the same situation that created Al Qaeda in the first place?" was @Lucifer 's comment on post #57.

ISIS was a conglomeration of Sunni Iraqis dispossessed from their own government, the free syrian army, and terrorist groups.

They were funded and supplied by many countries including the United States.

All the American tanks and humvees set aside for the Sunni portion of the Iraqi government got handed over to ISIS, as well as a bunch of Toyota pickup trucks supplied by John McCain. Plus the weapons stolen from Kaddafi, after American backed terrorists sodomized him with a knife.

I have to object about your McCain comment. If ever we have had a politician who understood the gravity of war, it was John McCain. He was no warhawk.

However, if we are to look at the history of US military interventions in the latter half of the 20th century, Republicans have been the ones who have traditionally started wars. You have to go all the way back to the Vietnam War to see Democrats starting and furthering a military engagement. Once we are in a war, it is hard to get out of it. Is is for this reason why I was vociferously opposed to the Iraq War.
