Greetings, earthlings. Had a 7:45 Doc appt this morn and been running ever since. New meds are working... but my wbc is high (14). They suspect I have an infection, but I have no symptoms. Geesh, I finally feel good again and they're looking for something wrong. Did labs again... hopefully this time will be better.

    Happy humpday!!

The man bun is today's male downfall. Sorry, but they should've stopped with pony tails. :(

Cooking is a man skill, not sure when or where that idea went sideways. Not that I have anything against a woman in the kitchen mind you, but I like to throw down too. Sweet and sour chicken over rice tonight. It’s still cooking, will post up a pic when plated.

But ... but .. Butts ... that is how some Guy Actors become
famous. On account of their Butts.Like Mel Gibson who started
that trend.I doubt Spencer Tracy or Jimmy Stewart were watched
    on account their butts.Nor Clark Gable { The King of Hollywood }
I'm not sure how that trend originated.Male actors from the Golden
Age did not wear tight fitting pants.Inn fact their pants were baggy.
Maybe it was guys like Mick Jagger and Elvis Presley.
    Yeah,that's it.
Another culture shock equation solved by yours truly.

Haven’t come across many man buns but dreadlocks are somewhat popular. They look gross.

It's not just the men. Plenty of females look ridiculous with blue hair and nose rings as well. It's no wonder the birth rate is declining... hard to find an attractive mate.

Don't get me started on tattoos.

I’m at that dangerous age (don’t ask) where a lot of guys grow a pony tail and get their left ear pierced.* The motivation behind this escapes me, but I stopped trying to figure out the whims of what is fashionable and what is not a long time ago.

    * At least in Denver. Maybe it’s different in Dallas.

Used to be different in Dallas. Thx to migration from Calif, not so much today.

There are attorneys working in my bldg who sport pony tails with their Italian suits. Also have a long-haired doctor. Don't mind either... but NO MAN BUNS!

I don't like nose rings or tattoos but sometimes the blue hair kinda turns me on. Other colors as well. But blue on black hair... sexy.

That is the essence of a major gravitational pull.
When I was young my mom told me always wear a bra. You will be thankful you did when you get older.

Yummy is not to be used in food appraisal.Like Goose liver is
    yummy.Or Braunsweiger.Or Escargot.I like Braunsweiger.Never had snails.
Basically if a dish looks yummy it probably is.But there are no guarantees.
Take a nice steak for example. It might even look nicely marbled and
be a Prime cut of beef. And cooked just right. But comes out tough as
leather.I recall about 10 years ago my Liquor store in the big city had
a gourmet food section and homemade bread { with lots of fresh ingredients like
Rosemary etc.} and cooked in some hearth. The Bread was expensive
and heavy.Because it was not properly made.It was wet.The dough was more ingredients
than flour & water. It was not fit to eat.Even toasting it was not much help.
The key to great bread is in the technique of making the dough and knowing
,how long to rest and also bake.Same thing with dishes.Overcook fish, chicken
or pork and the end result may be not very pleasant. It may be tough and chewy.
Cut into a nice Roast { Beef or pork } right out of the oven and it bleeds out
all those valuable juices.Plus a Roast is still cooking. It should sit for at least
    10 minutes before cutting into.
