IF.... Hillary comes back will Bernie supporters vote for her this time?

Assuming that she behaves and does not seem to cheat to win the nomination?

She is a good speaker....... she is a good debater.......... a lot of people in the Democratic Party consider her to be more electable than Bernie so........... even if she did not seem to cheat like she did in 2016........ I have to admit that if Hillary came back into this she would immediately surpass all other Dem nominees other than Bernie so............

is the obviously correct assessment of the situation in 2016 different now in 2020?

I'm Canadian and I personally heard no statistic in the State of the Union Speech that was obviously incorrect. I think that the only thing that Nancy Pelosi could even think of doing in protest was tear the speech up....... which she would know would be popular within the ranks of the Democrats in her area that keep sending her to Washington over and over and over again???

 

Apparently 47% said they won't vote. That's enough to be a significant windfall to Trump.

 

I am guessing that if even ten percent of Bernie supporters decided to vote for President Trump if Hillary gets into this again this would give the G. O. P. quite a majority in the house.

I made the guess of twenty one to twenty five percent though which I thought could well turn out to be accurate.

I didn't get a chance to go through the headlines thoroughly this morning but it does seem that the DNC hierarchy seems to be favoring another candidate over Bernie again in 2020?????

She's already exposed and her political career is over, the Trump tactics did work and just recently also works with Biden. Sanders will be the next target, perhaps they will try to link him to Kim Jong Un later on.

 

When you say, "if it seems she did not cheat" how would you measure that? The fix will work like this. Bernie will get to the convention in first place among delegates but not enough to win the minimum required under the first vote, vote number two is when the Super Delegates (Hillary's army) are free to vote the way they want. Suddenly Hillary's name is tossed in the ring and she declares "Who Me?, I'm so flattered) and she gets the nod all the while pretending this is a surprise.

I think the establishment does not want Bernie, but I think they will have no choice but to give the people what they want, and the people want Bernie

 

yep, Hillary is a personal email user like the Trump children... she will never be President, nor Trump's children - any gov official that uses personal email can't be President - now had she asked Russia for a favor... she would have been fine per republicans

Biden is expected to win in South Carolina 2/29. I cannot wait to see what happens.

1. Pelosi & Schumer are both very smart politicians, & they know Hillary is unpopular with a large fringe of Democratic voters. I seriously doubt they would ever consider Hillary as an alternative to Bernie--especially this late in the campaign.
2. Sanders said in a recent interview that he'd select someone who agrees with, & would continue advancing his political ideas after he was gone. Of the candidates now running, Eliz Warren would be the most logical choice. I suspect VOC would be a Sanders first choice, & a very popular one, but VOC is too young to meet Constitutional qualifications for that office right now. I'm not sure of other choices, but would be interested in seeing what others might suggest.

 

If I was Bernie I would choose Mr. Andrew Yang and then begin to explain to Americans why..........

There is a catch with this plan though........

My biggest nightmare... they come up with a surprise candidate at the last min and she sweeps the other candidates off the charts. ALL Democrats would vote for Michelle Obama.
