Always reminds me of the 'miniature' crepe myrtles my little brother planted around my patio years ago. So cute... they were used for centerpieces at a fancy dinner. Now they're probably 30 ft tall... and completely shade the patio.

    Beware of miniature.

I dont think there is any kind of pig that stays cute and small. The name terminology they use for "small pigs" is a ruse.

    Well one of the reasons I asked this Couple { who owned the little squealer }
was that they were trying on like Small almost Toy size dog harnesses.
I mean, not on them but their little pet. That is why the pet piggy was
squealing. Now why would they spend money on a small pet harness if that
pet was in all likelihood gonna be a real porker any year now.Of course maybe
they were Farm Folk and that is how they entertain themselves.
    Like the Ziffels and Arnold.
    Like this Pop stand.Just kiddin'.

Maybe they bought the harness because they need to leash the pig when they walk it. They keep that pig long enough, they will be back for a larger harness.

Sorry, I just can't listen to that. 30 seconds in and I'm almost breaking my phone to get it to stop.

A few years ago one wandered up and slept on our outside doormat. This one weighed a little more than 15 pounds more like 30 or 40 lbs. If you like pigs you would have loved her. She was very tame or seemed to be I didn't try to pet her. She wandered on down the road after I fed her. The people that owned her probably thought she would only get teacup size...lol.

I wonder how many people realize if you qualify for Medicaid to subsidize any of your healthcare insurance you have to repay the money Medicaid dished out with any assets you have. In reality you are only borrowing against your assets to pay for your health insurance.
I wonder if they tell people that before they sign off on accepting Medicaid financial help? I hope so.

Banks are very careful about who can or cannot get loans. You can get a banks rate by logging on to one of the bank rating sights, they get their information from the quarterly reports that the feds issue every quarter. Some of the raters use the 5 star ratings for the very best banks. Those reports are very interesting if you have a lot of money and want to keep it safe.

You should always ask about what you have to do before accepting any government help.
There is a novel written by Elmer Kelton it is a story about a Texas rancher refusing government help. Everyone should read the book, the title is "The Time it Never Rained."

I know banks can lift money from accounts for certain reasons. I was confused thinking there may be some obscure law that says a bank has the right to take your money from you without you somehow being legally obligated.

Yes, they both knew him. I read one of his books and I had to read all of his books or all that I could find. Some were better than others.

I don't think they can do that. Banks will go under and then the Feds step in to cover some of the losses up to a certain amount. Finance is an interesting subject.

I hope you like it. He also wrote "The Good Old Boys" it was made into a movie and also a good one to read he wrote some sequels to that one.
Next time you talk to Kimi tell her I said " Hello." I was thinking about her the other day.

Historically banks have never been very reliable.

Barrick gold - GOLD, has worked for me.

~ I remember some folks who took a risk and did almost all gold before it shot upwards. Wow ... ! Those are happy investors ... :aww:'
