Irrelevant. I've run political campaigns, created and conducted polls ... campaigns have much better polls than are available to the public.
    Bernie won't be the nominee.
I'm afraid not. Bernie stopped supporting any thought of collectivizing production with the Soviet Union collapsing and China moving away from Marxism-Leninism. He's now more like Jeremy Corbyn.
Attacking him personally is unlikely to get the desired result. He hasn't been lining his pockets and that's what the average guy sees. They trust the guy to work for them.
He's sharp enough, especially if he surrounds himself with smart guys.
Trump and Biden--neither one is all that smart.
    Smearing Joe won't work.
I suppose you think Trump is competent. He isn't. Replacing him with Joe isn't a downgrade.

    Yeah. That sounds logical .

Always a good thing to keep track of what you lay down today, so you will have the know which wine to have with it when you eat your words in November...

Not you personally, but your party for sure. It's like a circular suicide squad.

    Meanwhile...

It may be they have more money.
I'm interested in improving the education of all students.
Perhaps you're interested in promoting Trumpism.

It's not my party, but they've taken a major step forward toward getting rid of the Orange Oaf by all but anointing Biden.

You'll be okay after Trump leaves office on January 20, 2021, or sooner of he gets COVID-19 and goes for a dirt nap.

If you read the paper, you would have known that they controlled for that variable.

But not if involves learning from conservatives, apparently. Ideology comes first, right?

Of course I am. That is because it produces superior outcomes, as the facts in this case demonstrates.

You are reduced to snide comments and denial.

Families may have more money, the community more services, teachers may not want to work in poorer schools, and on and on.
Is ideology why you give their study more attention than it deserves?

We support President Trump because unlike any Democrat running for President this year, President Trump understands the truth of what children need.

A news commentator shoved a microphone in the face of a school principal and asked, "What are we missing? What do children need?" He went on and on about mental illness, the Juvenile Justice System, gun control, education reform, blah, blah, blah.

Folks, none of that mumbo jumbo makes a lick of sense. Here is what children need:

    1. Children need a mother and a father who love each other and work together as a team.
    2. Children need a bicycle, neighbors, and cousins.
    3. Children need a grandma to bake with and a grandpa to take em fishing.
    4. Children need a church, a Sunday School Class, and a truth telling Pastor.
    5. Children need a dinner time with home cooked food, prayer, and conversation.
    6. Children need Sunday afternoon football and fried chicken.
    7. Children need books on tape and coloring pages.
    8. Children need summers at the beach and bazooka bubble gum.
    9. Children need a trip to Arlington and Fourth of July Fireworks.
    10. Children need fire pits, smores, ghost stories, the drive in, and real popcorn.
    11. Children need discipline from their parents.
    12. Children need chores, a job, a way to earn what they want.
    12. Children need education that recognizes mama and daddy as the authority, God as the creator, and the Bible as the roadmap.

This is not about some agenda, this is about children. Get back to basics: faith, family, & good ole fashioned fun.

    Pretty good, Fox!

I often say that parenting is a job- and that is building a sound, strong, adult. That takes role models, fair and consistent structure, and positive experiences and reinforcement.
You just said it a bit differently.

What don't you understand about "they controlled for that variable."

No, it is the glee I get when liberals publish papers that disprove liberal policies.

I don't have an ideology, I am Conservative which simply means that I am inclined to preserving what we have, not going off half-cocked with innovation.

They controlled for teacher quality, did they? How did they measure?
A traditionalist fighting change? A reactionary marching in conservative garb? Conservatives want to empower the individual and press for change to get there.

What "superior outcomes" are you talking about? Trump hasn't even managed the economy well.

BTW, I support school vouchers provided they're for enough money to allow parents of modest means to choose a decent private school.

    Trump is a "maroon"?
    Having trouble with spelling too?

Total denial of reality doesn't look good on anyone for any reason.
IF Trump were as bad as you would like to portray- either
    (A) He wouldn't be president, the economy wouldn't be in the midst of all-time highs, and he wouldn't be the unstoppable odds-on winner for November. OR-
    (B) The entire nations is as confused and disoriented about everything as you are about Trump.

    Not a chance....

In the case we are discussing, a narrowing of the racial gap in academic achievement.

You asked about controlling for teacher's proficiency. The white kids do equally well in conservative and progressive districts. So the teachers are just as good for white kids. It must be progressive school policies that are holding the black kids back. Either that or progressive schools are hiring racist teachers.
