They conspired to interfere in the domestic workings of a government, which may or may not have protected his son. Even if it didn't, it was unsavory and "not who we are". Oh wait, I guess it is "who we are" depending on our interest of the day.

This subpoena doesn’t target Hunter Biden.

Sounds like the RW is already planning on a dead end witch hunt.

    Trump WILL LOSE (Either Way).

they did? Pretty sure the US and it’s allies in the EU were trying to have a corrupt prosecutor removed. Which had international support.

I’m not sure you fully grasp what foreign policy with international support means, and what soliciting a foreign government to announce an investigation into your domestic political rival means.

Don't worry the closest Biden will get to the White House is the weekly tour.

Regardless of Biden's existence of a political rival or not, this investigation should have and finally is happening. All this talk about the enoulements clause, and you don't want to investigate this fully? Just be content that the US government condoned this shakedown of the Ukrainian government?

Nah, I want a full and total review. It should've happened before he officially became a nominee. I thought the DNC was ahead of such matters.

Apparently it was big enough to get him 100,000 dollars a month with no training and expertise. And we know that Joe/Hunter lied about contacts relating to work. But yeah, let's not review this at all or "not make it political." It's a political violation of our civic responsibility to duly hold office. So yes, Romney it's "political" but not because of Trump. But because of Biden's prior position and the possible abuse of said position.

“Senator Romney has expressed his concerns to Chairman Johnson, who has confirmed that any interview of the witness would occur in a closed setting without a hearing or public spectacle," said Liz Johnson, Romney's communications director. "He will therefore vote to let the Chairman proceed to obtain the documents that have been offered.”

I have no problem with investigations. But they need to be done correctly. Trumps way was an illegal abuse of power.

Neither you or the republicans actually care. If you did, you would have investigated it years ago when it happened. You aren’t fooling anyone.

It appears with Biden/Ukraine and the dossier/FISA, the chickens have come home to roost.

Trump doesn’t lose. His batting average is .990 as president.

What if the training and expertise is on his resume? Like international and investor relations, serving on corporate boards?

If so, wouldn’t you feel mislead? If they lied to your face about one thing isn’t it possible they’re lying to your face about another?

It’s fairly easy to check out.

I'd like to hope such information is "fairly easy" to acquire, but if it had been you can be sure it would have been raised by either Joe or Hunter. Neither of them held it up as a sign of virtue, or would even want it to be reviewed.

"It's safe to say there's plenty of things I wouldn't have if my last name wasn't Biden." Yes, I want this reviewed. Trump's existence as President, Biden's existence as a presidential candidate do not factor into the necessity of the review.

Joe particularly has responded much and Hunter’s is fairly easy to look up.

I wish I knew what Republicans are fighting for here. Maybe Ron Johnson could give some insight. He writes a letter encouraging and then supporting the action taken by VP Biden, what has transpired since that changed his mind and why did it take so long?

    Are they upset with Manafort?

    Are they upset about Nepotism?

Are they upset with the notion some people are born with a path already paved?

What’s the end game, the purpose of the fight, the change to be enacted.

I have no problem investigating why the prosecutor wasn’t investigating Burisma if any American entities were involved. Although I suspect that would cut too close to the President’s interests: rules and regulations governing our business practices overseas.

I can't say anything about "they". I can only say about I. Yes, I'm upset with Nepotism and upset with the notion that some people are born with a path already paved.

The difference in this case and the Trump kids(before anyone goes there.) Is at least Trump gave them jobs inside of the US Government. In this case, Hunter Biden got access to a lucrative position, with lucrative pay that no one else would've had access to. To me, if there's a connection between his appointment and anything Joe said or did, that's not only the definition of the enoulements clause, it's the college scandal on steroids.

It's exactly like the college scandal.

I'd say he is doing the right thing. Sadly though, he knows and everyone in Washington knows that Congress has a poor record of doing much beyond saying they are investigating. While the Senate probably could do more than the hapless House of Pelosi, they won't. No one has yet been indicted even though criminal referrals have been passed on to the DOJ. I think Barney Fife could have gotten more done than the FBI or the DOJ. They just don't go after their own. Their seems to be a hands off policy for anyone who holds or has held any high office, no matter how corrupt they or their family is.

Trump made his money before becoming POTUS, the opposite of Democrats in that office.
