agree. One of my biggest issues with the gop is being dragged late to the party with regards to gay marriage. that was a mistake.

With that said, a lot of items on the list make me uncomfortable, and that's being nice.

 

Exactly why is it bad?

Why do you get to cherry picking parts of the bible that you feel should be applied to society. Putting aside any discussion on validity, if you want to apply the bible as the moral source then how is it justified not to apply it all?

Gay marriage is what he said. Actually I remember further back when the LGBT agenda was to keep government out of their bedroom, now look at how far their agenda has infected our society. The vast majority of homosexuals don't really agree with the radical elements of some of these LGBT groups.

strange how there’s lots of different books, saying different things and how this is the right one and all the others are wrong.

The only thing they seem to have in common is there is no supporting evidence, nothing that can prove what they say is true, but that this is the only ‘right’ way to live, while ignoring all of the awkward bits or the bits that don’t apply because of reasons but the other bits most definitely still apply because of some different reasons.

 

Thats not really a bad idea. Or go with Israels method of making EVERY citizen perform some period of time in public service. If they cannot serve militarily, there are plenty of other options.

But in general, I would like to see rich peoples kids having to go to serve and prosecute our foreign wars, and risk death. Instead of poor kids from the hood hoping to live to the end in order to get a college scholarship.

The military is becoming a modern day version of the Hunger Games.
