    Dems really want to win. In order for Biden to have any chance, they need most of Sanders supporters. Sanders supporters show up for his rallies but they don't vote because they are just as lazy as he is.

    The Dem. Nominee obviously would be happy to unite all voters.

    But, if a small group of Sanders Voters want to help Trump get re-elected, Biden will be able to win without them.

    It would make no difference. Sanders supporters are typically young, idealistic and like to gather and party at his rallies. Maybe they all voted for Biden in primaries but it's very obvious they either didn't show up at all or didn't vote for Sanders.

    Since these were democrat primaries, they were not voting for Trump. Maybe a handful of Sanders supporters will vote for Trump in the general election but not enough to make a difference one way or another. In any case, Trump will beat Sanders or Biden without them.
