Almost 200 North Korean soldiers have reportedly died from coronavirus cases

I wonder what the true state of affairs is. Will NK be able to contain it? When will they be forced to acknowledge it:

In Kwazulu Natal in South Africa, a Zulu nurse said doctors are refusing to help patients because they are scared of getting coronavirus, and apparently it's spreading like wildfire.... this was then also claimed as fake news by the SA government (who btw is also a communist government like China and NK - known for hiding the truth

Even the regular soldiers in NK are not in the greatest of health. This virus being as contagious as it is could kill a lot of north Koreans.

Far more nutritious than pop tarts, Macdonald's processed cheeseburgers, Miracle Whip, Twinkies, peanut butter cups, curly fries, chicken nuggets, Cinnabons, corn dogs, Dunkin' Donuts Glazed Jelly Sticks, Dairy Queen Royal Reese's Brownie Blizzard, Triple Thick Milkshakes, Field's Cookie Cups, Mud Pie Mojos, and Lucky Charms.

No, I don't think bark and dirt are more nutritious than Western junk food.
This junk food isn't meant to be a staple of Western diets. Westerners are
living longer, healthier lives, with reduced morbidity. And it's not because
of some we consider fun additions to our normal diets.
North Korea, as a typical Communist country, deals with starvation on a
constant basis. About half of the 150,000,000 people who died under
Communism died of starvation.
Thank goodness Europe has NATO (and BTW, the New World potato)
as both of these saved millions of people dying of starvation.

 

Whatever is necessary to remove the threat.

 

They dont have old people anyways.

NK is so isolated from the rest of the world (even though China is its closest political/trading/social partner), it's remarkable the disease made its way there.

If this guy is given a choice between bark and dirt on one hand, and these treats on
the other, I know which one he will chose.

 

Tree bark fits a vegan diet, and dirt has essential minerals.

 

It's been shown that if a human lived off a chimpanzee diet he would die.
And early hominids lived off bark, sages and grass - without meat in that
mix you would also die.
Vegans can be vegans today because of advances in nutrition science.
But it's not natural for humans.
But then again - North Koreans seem to be doing fine with bark and dirt.
Stopping them from taking South Korea was worthwhile.

Tree bark for sure but I'm not so certain that consuming soil (dirt, as you call it) will render its minerals for human consumption. No matter ..... it's got to be better than my list of American junk staples ... yes, yes many Americans eat nothing but that crap. If you see an extremely broad buttocks from behind (in Europe) there's an 95% certainty it's an American tourist ... even if they are not wearing a baseball cap. All of that obesity is definitely responsible for more premature deaths than the Coronavirus or fried Chinese cats, dogs, rats, grasshoppers, snakes, or cockroaches can ever achieve.

 

Two hundred young, tough, fit NK soldiers dead from a virus that kills the old and infirm? I find that hard to believe.

 

The average North Korean exists on near starvation level food intake and that probably includes vast numbers of their soldiers as well.
