    Both the FDA and the FTC have called upon right wing leaders like Jim Bakker to STOP selling fraudulent “cures” for Covid-19. This is common practice among the grifters on the right, but this one has the potential to get people killed. The government is right to step in here, and they need to expand their crackdown to other right wing hucksters selling snake oil to their gullible audiences.



    This reminds me of Trump University and Trump Vitamins. Remember those?
    My question is...why is Bakker not in the Trump adminstration? He has the credentials...an Evangelical phony Christian and a grifter. Perfect fit.

    trump is doing his share to help his christian brothers. He had his photograph taken with a Brazilian carrier of the disease and then shakes the hands of all his photo op friends. Beyond pathetic.

    Colloidal silver has really good anti-viral properties, the AMA is a glorified union, and doesn't like competition. As if their antibiotics don't have side effects, or dope they are rushing to legalize.

    Colloidal silver has the same efficacy as a placebo, and more side effects. You'd be better off taking the sugar pill.

    I'm also surprised Jim Bakker is still alive, let alone out of prison. Wasn't he given 45 years back in the 80's?

    Really, has that been your experience? My computer guy was here today who takes colloidal silver when he starts to feel a flu come on, said he never gets them anymore.

    The placebo effect can apply to anything the AMA prescribes too. Not being patentable, they aren't interested in looking into alternatives.

    Yay Trump for putting an end to this fraud!!!!!! He got on Bakker with not just one but two federal agencies. Him and his three followers will not be happy.

    Anyone who listens to a religious figure or media commentator for medical advice deserves any outcome they get. I just hope they don't endanger the health of others in the process.

    And he had the cure for the Virus and the Gov't. is stopping Bakker from curing everyone.

    Yes I am very aware and also more than a little aware of the effects of silver solutions since we have been using them for years to treat burns and other skin loss conditions such as SJS. Fortunately most of those have been replaced with newer and better methods of treatment.

    The biggest issue with the silver solutions is lack of quality control

    Do you honestly think something made by Alex Jones in his backyard half baked home brew would have any degree of quality control?

    I wouldn't have homemade colloidal silver any more than I've have home made antibiotics. Should I list all the people now who've had bad anti biotic reactions?
