Real equality will only happen when men can carry a baby in their body for 9 months, then give birth.

equality, real equality, is a matter of will and of responsibility. it is not something based on chance or the whims of biology.

Emotionally, maybe. Physical limitations to equality are real. Males have greater upper body strength, females have eggs and give birth. No matter how big the man bun, men can't compete with women when it comes to birthing babies. :)

Actually I'd say it's a myth concocted by those with invidious designs.

Us men carry many moving sperm inside our sacks which is more painful than any woman can imagine. We are just too used to it to complain.
    We are equals mentally.

I’m gender fluid. This morning I was a woman. This afternoon, I’m definitely a man.

Why does equality have to mean "same". I don't want to be the same as you. I don't have to be the same as you in order for us both to be equal. We don't have to be the same height. We don't have to have the same color hair, or have the ability to lift the same amount of weight. Equality is a concept that considers the sum of all of our differences.

Which means equality is all in your mind. If you think you're equal, then you are. Same with thinking you're a victim. Nobody ever said life is fair... because it's not.

Life is all in your mind.

And no one said anything about fair. You keep taking different terms and trying to make them mean the same thing. They don't. Equality, same, and fair do not mean the same thing.

Actually... they do mean the same thing. All mean equal. People in this country have equal opportunity... what you want is equal outcome. That's not how life works.

We all know that equality of the sexes means special rights and privileges for women.

we are, of course, speaking of equality in a strictly sociological sense. physical or intellectual equality are impossible among members of a differentiated species. even though all things may appear equivalent, there will always be inequalities between beings. or are you perhaps suggesting that female humans incapable of bearing a child are not women?

i make a mean grilled cheese. sourdough bread brushed with extra virgin olive oil, several layers of thinly sliced gruyere with a sprinkling of freshly grated parmesan to add a little bite, all grilled to a golden brown.

ha ha, i think i'll make one right now and you can't have one.
