The 1984 presidential campaign of Ronald Reagan proclaimed, “It’s morning again in America.” Times have changed. Instead of the “shining city on a hill” envisioned by Reagan, our nation has become a tarnished, corrupt slum.

It is now afternoon in America. The falling sun is harsh and unforgiving and will burn away the filth and wretched excess. When the sun touches the earth, America as we know it shall cease to exist.

Culture predicts reality. The 1996 movie, Independence Day, in which fire covered everything, was followed the next year by the movie Titanic, in which water covered everything: an omen of global warming to be followed by global flooding.

Fire consumes all. Water cleanses. It separates the foul from the pure. The wicked from the innocent. And that which sinks from that which rises. He destroys all, but only to start again. — Russell Crowe as the title character, Noah (2014)

And the 2001 movie, Planet of the Apes, showed us the grim reality of the future of humanity enslaved by intelligent furry primates. Because movies are necessarily the future.

Did the movie Planet of the Apes foretell our seeming epidemic of autism? In the 1968 film, humans of the future no longer speak. Today, we seem to have an increasing number of autistic children. As many as 40% of them will never speak.

Perhaps we are experiencing a programmed evolution that can be predicted through our culture.

Planet of the Apes was followed in 1970 by Beneath the Planet of the Apes, which depicted mutant humans who had telepathic powers. One can see a progression in real life. A growing number of humans will no longer speak. Eventually they won’t have to speak because they will use telepathy.

The corona is the plasma “crown” of the falling sun. The coronavirus is the curse of the falling sun god.

We had a clock like that when I was young, but I don't know what happened to it.
