They seem to believe Trump ended the programs altogether.

The pundits on CNBC were saying Trump and Congress should have been doing that, Bluesguy, before the end of February.

Which was a constitutional matter. Give it up I have shown that District Courts rule on Constitutional matters.

" As a result, a district court’s opinion that a law is unconstitutional is unlikely to be the final decision on the question. When a court issues a decision against the government at that level, the government is likely to appeal."

Problem is all of these 'assistance' programs were originally meant to be a safety net, but are now treated more like a hammock by many.

BluesGuy has shown he does not get it.

SCOTUS has original jurisdiction on all matters constitutional.

FFS, NO they don't. The vote on LAWS in the constitution, they do NOT interpret it, or can they deem a law “unconstitutional”. IN this case they ruled on a law, and the result of THAT decision may have rendered another law unconstitutional. There are defined LAWS in the constitution. Your embarrassing yourself.

See above District Courts rule on constitutionality. Now what constitutional item was found here, there is certainly no legal argument.

Only if it reaches them not all such decisions do, I have cited quite clearly District Courts engage in constitutional matters.

RGB is just another partisan hack.

You don’t need to know the constitution to predict how she is going to vote.

You are partially but not completely accurate. SCOTUS has the final say if it takes on an appeals court decision,

Lack of rebuttal noted, diversion noted.
Not talking "final" say and it can end right there in the District Court.

No one needs rebuttal Bluesguy or the others on this OP: they have lost the arguments but keep coming back "nuh uh."

SCOTUS has the final say, if it so wants, on all issues constitutional.

What should never have changed is giving them cash instead of food.
Remember SNAP stands for Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, not "Oh good, now I have the cash to buy the latest cell phone and post on Farcebook how badly the government treats me"
Let's go back to original intent and allow the poor to buy the food stamps so they can buy food, yes that's how it used to work.

Judges are Judges, ptif219, and your out-of-context, unsupported attack against them is meaningless.

Prove that is what he meant. You have to take him out of context to believe those democrat lies
