Context is EVERYTHING! This is a NATO nation helping out another NATO nation.

While there are companies in the US producing swabs, testing swabs are also being purchased from overseas to increase capability. Those flown in by AMC were produced by the Italian company Copan Diagnostics.

"Italian ingenuity is helping to save lives around the world," AMC said in a statement. "As the US continues to buy these swabs, AMC is honored to help transport our Italian partner's generous support to help the American people.

It's not even a test kit. They are like the swabs for a DNA test. It's like a one ended wooden q-tip in a tube. It's just one component of the test kit.

So Trump who has known that this was a pandemic for three months is now reduced to getting swabs from Italy. Makes sense to me. After all who could possibly figure out how to manufacture sticks with fabric on the end in three months.

Considering WHO did not issue a pandemic warning until March 11th.. Priceless!

Would you feel better if we bought them from China? You probably just weren't thinking about the big picture. It couldn't have been that you were just trying to be a political hack so let me help. They didn't have a test for this three months ago so how could they know what they needed three months ago?

So, by that logic, Trump wouldn't start spraying water on a burning house until the Fire Dept. told him that it is was on fire?

    That sounds like Trump's "Logic".

You goverment are *******s and you support its behavior. In the context of the situation in Italy it is a theft - to take away what Italian people need themselves.

Italy needs itself all what was taken away by americans. Try to say this to Italians now what you say here that nothing special happened. They would crash your head.

Italy sold the swabs. They wanted to sell the swabs regardless of your overly dramatic response. You have no say in the matter so get over it. Nobody is going to "crash my head", whatever the **** that means. That just sounds stupid. Nobody cares.

The information in that article was totally debunked days ago so try and keep up. Let me help you get up to speed, because you obviously haven't kept up.

Now that we have that nonsense cleared up let's get back to the swabs.

What did Italy's EU friends do to help? They left Italy to rot. Blaming the US for anything is just cheap scapegoating...

I do not believe US mass media. Maybe because of nothing happened the CEO from CureVac was fired immediately after the case?... Haha
