20¢ round to the back of the head if convicted with sufficient evidence of committing a violent crime with a gun.

Well, and I may just be spitballing here, people actually ARE getting paranoid about their safety and possessions - especially keeping them safe from those roving bandits I had to tell you exist. Perhaps these people also didn't know about them until just now.[/QUOTE]
If you followed along with the entire conversation I was referring to roving bandits in relation to the virus. To my knowledge there has been no rash of virus related gun crimes.

Oh, I thought you had a real solution. You obviously know our govt won't get behind that.

Paranoid or not, people have a constitutional right to purchase a weapon.

It is a real solution, but no — government will not get behind that. Nor would most people.

Never argued against anyone's constitutional right. I am a gun owner.

I guess when I say it's not a real solution it's because it's not one that will ever get implemented

"Infringement" comes into effect long before wrongful denial of the right.

Would you tolerate the application these unnecessary and ineffective conditions on the exercise of the right o free speech, the freedom of the press, or an abortion?

Current CMP rules on this are a lot less restrictive than they used to be.

Depends, I don’t believe having someone locked up for life that just shot up a school (or anywhere for that matter) is more humane than just executing them.

Yes, we should. That is about a 10 minutes review of the Constitution.

The same mandatory education on the pitfalls of voting Republican would be good as well. About a week of the educators saying "Almost every vote for the modern Republican party is a serious pitfall! Don't do it, you dummy!"

I'm all for death penalty but unfortunately the way the system is set up it rarely ever happens in a timely manor. It gets dragged out for years and years. Unfortunately that will never change.

And plenty of other countries around the world are in lockdown, likely worried about looting and robberies, but not rushing out to buy guns...

In most other nations they don’t have to worry about being looted or robbed by someone with a firearm though. Unfortunately that is an issue us Americans have.

They would if their gun laws did not intentionally make it difficult to do so.

Well, it's like those liberal bumper stickers: "Against Abortion? Then don't have one."

And those who are against personal gun ownership should help create an atmosphere of general disapproval of the idea. I suggest those who oppose personal gun ownership should put a large sign up in front of their homes, or on the door of their apartments: THIS HOME HAS NO GUNS

    Probably true.
Then you need to break violent crime down by demographics.

Agreed. Many violent people never killed anyone, but should still be on the No Buy list. Another factor people aren't talking about is the record use of psychological drugs that list "Suicidal thoughts or actions" as a side effect.
