It refutes itself, do I need to explain what MOE is, sampling variance, coverage and margin bias? From your poll of 502 adults: “The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 5.1 percentage points at the 95% confidence level, for results based on the entire sample of adults. The margin of sampling error takes into account the design effect, which was 1.36. The margin of sampling error is higher and varies for results based on sub-samples.”

Can’t help with your reading comprehension issues though.

So you can't refute the poll gotcha and challenging other posters reading comprehensions for lack of debate will get you a warning from the mods.

Report away, you are good at that.
You are either ignoring the metrics of the poll or you do not understand them, I am even posting the exact verbiage of it. Nothing more I can do.

Lets do some simple math from your poll, what is 55% minus 5.1%? Using the MOE, is that still the “majority of Americans”?
It is also laughable that you are touting a poll of 502 adults as statistically relevant.

And then there is this in your source: “An NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist survey published Tuesday showed that more Americans disapprove of the way Trump is handling the coronavirus than those who approve, 49 percent to 44 percent, and few trust in the information they hear from the president about COVID-19.”

"An ABC News/Ipsos poll released Friday reports that 55 percent of respondents approve of Trump’s management of the public health crisis, while 43 percent disapprove. The latest figures represent a boost in the president’s rating from the previous iteration of the survey, published one week ago, which showed only 43 percent approval for Trump and 54 percent disapproval."

    Why lookie here

60 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s handling of coronavirus: Gallup poll

President Trump's approval numbers are as high as they've ever been throughout his presidency as he deals with the coronavirus outbreak, according to the latest Gallup poll.

The poll shows 60 percent of Americans approve of the president's handling of his actions to combat the virus. That includes 94 percent of Republicans and 60 percent of Independents, while just 27 percent of Democrats approve of the president's handling of the outbreak.

Meanwhile, his overall job approval is at 49 percent, which is tied for the highest he has ever been when polled by Gallup. Trump jumped 5 points in the tracking poll from earlier this month.

Nothing to refute, they are within both sampling error and MOE.
Congratulations, you posted a statistically significant poll!

I am glad to see polls matter again.

And as noted Trump has clear public support. The Dems better get on board and get on board quick.

    Nah.

    Trump is toast, regardless.

Still, I can see why he would want to sweep those bad unemployment stats under the rug.

And with every Democrat delay over their pet political wants, never let an emergency go to waste, the less likely your predictions of which you have a lousy record.

I knew our number of claimants would be high, ( 3 million +), due to the fact our Northern Neighbor, Canada, shut-down a greater percentage of its economy, i.e. non-essentials, schools, bar, restaurants, etc, and last week, 500,000 Canucks have filed for unemployment benefits, thus, based on U.S./Canada population ratio (10 to 1), 5 million claims

    You see, Trump, his officials/Secretaries, and average Joe's/Jane's supporters can't fool me/hide anything from me, because I always analyse/evaluate factual evidence unbiasedly, and I ask myself questions, thus, first step of (critical thinking), for example;

Thread title; Flashback Jan 14: WHO Tells Everyone Don't Worry Because China Says Coronavirus Isn't Contagious

    Guess what?

Moderno received Covid19 draft genome from Chinese researchers on Jan 11, 2020. Three days later, Modano identified its genetic sequence, and 42 days later, delivered a clinical batch.

Thus, by mid January, Moderno/NIAID/Dr. Fauci already knew Covid19 was contagious, thus, who cares if on Jan 14, two WHO officials contradicted each other, however, the OP only mentioned the WHO Official who sided with China.

First Moderna Coronavirus Vaccine Test on Human - USdayNEWS…….FEBRUARY 25, 2020
    https://usdaynews.com/news/moderna-coronavirus-vaccine
The collaboration across Moderna, with NIAID, and with Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations has allowed us to deliver a clinical batch in 42 days from sequence identification,” stated Moderna’s Juan Andres.

......An "indoor record" according to Dr. Fauci

In other words, I established a timeline of knowledge with this simple question: When did Moderno started working on a vaccine candidate?
