21 Million Cellphones Went Silent in China

I am not much of a conspiracy theorist. That said, I am married to a Chinese woman from Wuhan. The stuff she is telling me based on her conversations with family members back home, some of who are high ranking CCP members, leads me to believe that the death toll in China is magnitudes larger than what has been reported. This ex-pat formerly living in China details how 21 million cell phone accounts have gone silent. Why? My wife says because they are all dead...

 

Wow!!! I certainly hope not.

Interestingly, if you take the population of China - 1.3 billion - and assume an 80% infection rate, and from that a 3% death rate, you get just over 33 million. So it seems to be possible to see 21 million dead.

 

Or dissapeared.

 

Our Western liberal democracies will look a whole lot more like China once this is all over.

 

The open position for a virologist was the creepiest bit to me. One heck of a coincidence I guess.

 

Of course it wouldn't surprise me. China hasn't been forthcoming about any of this. Why are we all of a sudden expecting China to be forthcoming now?

 

I heard of that, but to be fair, there is some other reasons that some cellphones went silenced, such a decrease of tourisme, however it's highly possible that for many of them, they're just dead.

 

I wonder if Xi watches Rachel Maddow to get his tips on censorship.
