But what trump haters have done is to once again willfully indulge in lies and deception exhibiting a total lack of good character . A lack of honesty and integrity. Residing alongside whale poop that lies on the bottom of the sea . Cant get any lower than that.

This is the problem with liberals getting news from fake news organizations, the news is purposefully manipulating the story to try to show that Trump said something he didnt. You are wrong. On August 15, 2017, Trump made the statement about 'very fine people on both sides'.

He said; "Now, I'm not talking about the Neo-Nazis and the White Nationalists because they should be condemned. But you had many people in that group other than Neo-Nazis and White Nationalists, okay. And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly. Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people, but you also had trouble makers and you see them come with the black outfits and with the helmets and the baseball bats, you got a lotta bad people in that group too."

He was of course referring to Antifa. Nobody on either side were 'very fine people'. NO, just no. There was NO fine people that caused all that mess, there were NO fine White Nationalists. There were NO fine Neo-Nazis. There were NO fine Antifa!

the world is not divided into 2 groups, There where plenty of people there that are normal people that wanted the statues to be removed, and there was also plenty of normal people there that wanted to keep the statues in place.. some normal rational people wanted them removed because they though they where racist. Other normal rational people wanted them to stay because they are a part of history and was art. There is rational points on both side of the argument.

And then there was the other 2 groups that where the radical side of things, Antifa and White nationalists. Trump specifically said he was not talking about the radicals, he was talking about the normal people on both sides of the argument.

And he was wrong.... which is the general point of both ads.

It's an issue because some Dem groups are making ads about his continued attempted gaslighting of America with his misuse of the word hoax in relation to what's going on in the world.

My generally apolitical wife saw the 2 ads in this thread and said they were both very well done and effective. Rare for her to weigh in like that.

His approval on anything is not 60%... that single Gallup poll is clearly an outlier. Fox News from 3/21-3/24 has him 51% (+5)

I go with George Conway on the general reason why his coronavirus approval appears higher than his overall approval.... Americans are simply confused by Trump appearing serious about something, but that will resolve itself.
