Oh my goodness! What has Pelosi done this time???

Maybe I'm going to get an email from her soon to ask for my dollar as a donation to the Democratic Party. She's going to hold everything up for fundraising, just like she always does.

I think OP may have been a bit confused (or I was confused what OP meant)

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/senate-coronavirus-economic-stimulus-package-bill-2020-03-25/#

So some Pubs say the bill needs to be amended to cap total bennies @ 100% of total income instead of allowing UI+ $600/week to potentially (likely) exceed employed income. Sanders responds by threatening to hold the whole thing up if they do.

Thats a ****ton of money. I don't think I can get $600/week of unemployment. $600/week of additional unemployment is going to have me begging my boss to lay me off.

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the massive $2.2 trillion coronavirus economic relief bill approved by the Senate will pass the House on Friday with “strong bipartisan support.”

Pelosi spoke to reporters at the Capitol on Thursday a day after the Senate unanimously approved the measure.

Don't you owe her an apology for falsely claiming she held up the bill yesterday and calling her names for it? Why weren't you upset with McConnell he is the one that held it up since Sunday night? Are you biased?

Interesting. In another post you just pooh poohed the need for evidence in order to hold an opinion.

“An Outright Lie” – McCarthy Blasts Pelosi For Lying About Changes to the Coronavirus Stimulus Package

Wicked Pelosi has been trying to sneak in a wish list of Socialist goodies that have absolutely nothing to do with the Coronavirus.

The Speaker’s Socialist wish list includes: Collective Bargaining, Green New Deal Priorities, Student Loan Forgiveness, Federalizing Elections, Illegal ballot harvesting, Immigration Provisions, Overreaching Mandates on Businesses and much more!

Hopefully the GOP has managed to keep much of this fraud out of the bill.

Now's a GREAT time for Congress to pass a GREAT bill for Americans!

You are the one holding both positions, why would it be my responsibility to explain your positions?

As Crazy Nancy delays US aid, after impeaching Trump for delaying Ukrainian aid:
US Hospitals Consider Do-Not-Resuscitate Laws for All COVID-19 Patients
    [IMG]

The hospital officials are citing that their staff is at high risk of getting exposed to the deadly virus as there is low supply of protective equipment.

The policy refers to doctors telling health care providers to not perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to restore the work of the heart and lungs when the patient stops breathing.

One such hospital is Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. The hospital is considering the policy for patients.

“It’s a major concern for everyone. This is something about which we have had lots of communication with families, and I think they are very aware of the grave circumstances,” Richard Wunderink, one of Northwestern’s intensive-care medical directors, told the Washington Post, adding that the hospital administrators will speak to Illinois Governor. J.B. Pritzker and ask him to clarify if state law would allow the changes in policy.

Obama burned through 3/4ths of the N95 masks in the h1n1 epidemic in 2009 and despite $T in stimulus, never replenished the stock he inherited from Bush.

Patients can be saved with ventilators, but, while Pelosi plays politics with crucial aid, Intensive Care folks, inadequately equipped are considering withholding care regardless of a person's directives.

In this thread I criticized the OP for stating something as a fact and not substantiating it. In the other thread I stated something as an opinion only as there was no way for me to substantiate my thoughts. Maybe you're trying to absorb too much in one day. :)

The House is set to vote today on the stimulus package one day after it was sent from the Senate. Good job Nancy.

The House of Representatives today passed the virus stimulus one day after it was received from the Senate. The lone opponent to the bill was Thomas Massie (R. Ky). Speaker of the House Nanci Pelosi touted the aid forthcoming for hospitals, Americans and small businesses, while acknowledging that more needs to be done for the front line healthcare workers and paying homage to a New York nurse who died while serving at a hospital that didn’t have enough gowns.
