This package is bigger than I thought was necessary but at last relief for American workers and businesses is on the way...

A quick note, it appears that around half of this package - at least $837 billion - is in the form of loans, instead of giveaways, which is somewhat of a relief for those concerned about the enormous cost of this relief bill...

Somebody needs to pull that Republican Congress man that tried to play games with this today outside, and whip his ass.

The unemployment addition is what's going to be the biggest relief for Americans who's job was shut down. I know several and this will save them.

Any politician who tried to include and/or support anything at all within this bill not DIRECTLY associated with aiding American citizens affected by Cornavirus needs to be outed to the public and voted out once this is all over.

I don't care who they are, Republican, Democrat, Independent, etc. This was NOT the time for playing political games with the livelihood of American citizens. The state governments directly put millions of folks out of work at the stroke of a pen and then decided to try to figure out what to do for these folks after the fact. And it took weeks to get this bill passed as a direct result of politicians playing stupid partisan games at the expense of American citizens.

Don't just be happy that they finally got this thing through folks, be upset that our elected officials took this long to do it while you struggled because they wanted to play games with your livelihood for ideological reasons. And remember that when it comes time for re-election for these incompetent knuckleheads.

It's been eye opening to observe how our fine people in Washington decided to play politics with this bill, and the virus in general. My choice of being independent is validated.
