Trump's "record highs" suck. Dude has never broken 50% on most polls. And now the economy is in the crapper, so he doesn't even have that going
for him. Largest Debt on record for any first term President. Not one year above 2.9% GDP. Fastest unemployment rise in 100 years. North Korea still working on nukes. Iran still working on nukes. $140 million spent on golf trips. Impeached. What a clown.

    That about says it all.

Add that to the fact he was only elected with the votes of Only 27% of Eligible Voters.

Also, Trump has a ceiling of about 48% in the Big 3 Rust Belt States.

And without 3rd Party candidates like Stein siphoning off Dem. Votes, 48% won't get it done in 2020.

Trump has a really tough Map.

He would be lucky to hold Biden under 300 in the EC.

The article goes on to state that 15% of Bernie supporters will be voting for Trump.

In 2016 it was 13%, and I expect the numbers to be higher this election cycle.

    Democrats assume that...

the down economy = negative approval for trump

Americans know what happened and if it wasn't for trump it would be far worse. Trump put in travel bans and Democrats said he was racist and xenophobic. If a Democrat was president, he would never close the border he don't respect.

Trumps approval rating is 49% the Pelosi's approval rating is 20%. Let's see, the President's approval rating is twice what the Democratic house is.... I wonder who is really in trouble....

I'm not the one saying half of America buy's into Conspiracy theories.

This may come as a surprise but other people have their own choice in political opinions and just because they do, does not authorize you to assume they all hold to certain notions. And guess what? You can think you are 100% correct and still be wrong.

Yes. With the terrific job Trump is doing on CV-19 he'll likely pull at least 30% of the B-Bros and with it 38 states to 12, regardless of which poor fool Democrats finally decide to sacrifice rather than simply have the President run unopposed.

    MCLAUGHLIN POLL - TRUMP ROARS:

Trump's war on the virus via Trump’s herculean efforts to reform and update how the bureaucracy is responding has fed support for changing Washington. Said the analysis:

“The current coronavirus national emergency is renewing massive support for President Trump’s message to change Washington. The huge number of voters who want the president to continue to fight to change Washington has increased to 56% saying yes vs. only 32% who say no. Republicans give the president near unanimous support for changing Washington 90%-5%. Independents want change 50%-32%, and 28% of the Democrats support change. Among Hispanic voters 43% want change and among African American voters 35% want the president to change Washington.”

Well, it’s become obvious that the bureaucracy can kill people, and that our government is poorly set up to do the things that actually matter.

Exactly. What the people are seeing is that our federal National Health agencies were unprepared. They had FDA rules in place which prevented them from making enough covid-19 tests.

They did not stock enough personal protective equipment like masks and shields, that they used up some of the supply during SARS an H1N1 virus and they did not replenish those supplies.

The people know that the CDC for almost a decade or actually more than a decade had never purchased enough ventilators.

The people are smart enough to know that it wasn't George Bush's fault it wasn't Barack Obama's fault and that it's not Donald Trump's fault, it's the fault of our federal National Health agencies, who were caught flat-footed but have been able to bounce back. If it wasn't for Private Industry picking up the slack and pumping out an incredible number of PPE and now ventilators and test kits, we would really be in quite the pickle

For startes, that would be when Trump banned flights coming in from China, when Trump instituted quarantine procedures for incoming Travelers of foreign origin, and when Trump declared a national public health emergency back in January 31st

Was just a few months ago what are the Democratic Party's candidates running for president were all about freeing up the US border and increasing the free flow of illegal aliens pouring in from Mexico. Now we have covid-19 to contend with, and people can see how wrong-headed the Democrat's politics have been.

Too little too late? Experts decry Mexico virus policy delay

Experts say those figures greatly understate the true number of infections. Mexico has done far less testing than many other countries — fewer than 10,000 tests. New York state alone had performed more than 205,000 tests by Tuesday. There were also signs the disease may be far more advanced in Mexico than the limited testing shows — three state governors have already tested positive for coronavirus.

“Politics is very, very much involved in the decision-making going on right now,” said Janine Ramsey, an infectious disease expert who works for Mexico’s National Public Health Institute, a federal research agency, and has spent 35 years of her public health career in Mexico.

“Mexico, politically, does not value scientific evidence. Why? Because it takes decision-making away from the politicians,” Ramsey said.

California has been essentially telling illegal immigrants "hey come to California and get free healthcare," so what is a Mexican citizen going to do when they feel they're coming down with the COVID-19 virus, will they sneak across the border into California to get treated?

So tell me what would Trump's approval numbers be if he had the same praise Obama "thrill up my leg" media that Obama enjoyed?

    Wow. Good to know.

Is that WHY he has cancelled the briefings (because he doesn't want to face press scrutiny over telling America to "inject disinfectants")?

    "keeping Americans calm and comforted"?:roflol:
