Everyone should know by now that "I didn't say that" is one of Trump's most vapid and most frequent lies. He has no concern for reality. Only his image. He's made that clear for decades, as much as it offends his followers to say so.

1. Pelosi pushed to ensure that the stimulus money would go to the people more c than to the corporations. Yes, we need to keep the airlines and other travel industry companies afloat so that their thousands of employees remain solvent, but if not for Pelosi, Mnuchin would have handed corporations $500 billion of our money to do with as they will, with no oversight. She's doing good work for working Americans, and someday statues will be made b of her, schools will be named after her, whether you or I like her or not.

2. Trump didn't say the virus was a sham, he said it was a hoax perpetrated by the Democrats. Here's the entire rambling speech from one of his rallies:

3. Russia did help Trump get elected, but he didn't help them directly. He did nothing to discourage them, and many of his campaign people (including Junior and Jared) had contacts with Russia and were eager for the help, but it would be a stretch to think that Trump had any direct contact with Putin during the campaign. Of course, he's had plenty of friendly contact since then, and nothing but praise for dear old Vlad. "I don't care. I believe Putin," said Trump to his intelligence officials.

Unfortunately, in today's highly charged environment, you know it will come. What we don't know as yet, is how far will Trump go into his distraction tactics. He doesn't do well under pressure, that we know for sure. I'm sure he will go pull off a political nuke in the next couple of months, and then who knows how the far left will react.

 

What does "that" mean? I argue that it was in reference to the first statement that she made: ""You said repeatedly that you think that some of the equipment that governors are requesting, they don't actually need." This is a loaded statement. If Trump were to say, "Yes, I said that," then the media can twist that into saying that Trump said that ventilators and other live-saving equipment are not needed, since "some" can be in reference to amount or type, depending on the sense. The media would use the latter meaning, which he never said once, never mind "repeatedly." Now the "reporter" (opinion maker) followed that up with a non sequitur when she referenced Trump saying that the amount that was being requested was probably unnecessary, which does not logically follow from the preceding statement that ventilators are unneeded. The statement that he actually made, thus, was purposely placed out of context.

You'll have to clarify that within the context of the entire rambling rant, which I quoted in my previous post. Not once does he say that the Democrats blamed him for the virus. He is calling the virus itself a hoax. The last sentence indicates it: "We have 15 people in this massive country and because of the fact that we went early, we went early, we could have had a lot more than that."

The GOP and DNC in the Senate had worked out a deal. It was all based on helping stabilize/stimulate the economy in the face of the epidemic. Then Pelosi called lapdog Chuck, and told him to stall until she could get there. She rolled back into DC with a list of permanent socialist changes and the wish-list items. Of which only two made it into the bill. Increasing UI by $600 per week, and extending those benefits, and money for the Kennedy Center. But the rest of the bill was basically the same as it was when she got into town. The biggest change she wanted to the bill was to stop money going the airline industry. What was her problem with them? About a year ago, the airlines bought back some of their stock to raise the price. She tried to paint government backed low interest loans to Corporations that were affected by the COVID-19 shutdown as government handouts. But no bought the BS. The only handouts are to Small Businesses that could lose their countries because of this situation. In the end, there were only some slight modifications to the bill in this regard. In the end, Pelosi delayed the signing of the bill for more then a week in exchange for some minor changes. The stimulus package could have been signed, and separate legislation to address UI expansion could have followed within a week. But that is not the Pelosi way. Her way is to screw everyone in favor of the agenda.

The "new hoax" is clearly not the virus. It is the DNC politicizing the President's response, and that is the "new hoax".

Russia helped get Trump elected. They also helped Hillary get the DNC nomination. But the Mueller Report said that there was no evidence of a concerted effort by anyone within the Trump Campaign to coordinate with the Russians. No effort to coordinate = No collusion.

TDS = Trump Derangement Syndrome. You have already been tested, and found to be infected. The only cure requires someone with the disease to report to their local mental health facility for treatment.

Alternative facts seem to be what Trumpster resort to when the truth hurts.

Pelosi and Schumer objected to the part of the bill that gave $500 billion to corporations, to be distributed entirely at Mnuchin's discretion to his rich corporate buddies, with zero congressional oversight. Pelosi's bargaining chips worked, because what the passed ended up including that oversight. He only goal was to make sure that the money went to the workers, not the CEOs and definitely not for companies to buy back their stock and boost the share price.

Russia did not help Hillary. She was the last person Putin wanted in the White House. Look up their history from when she was Secretary of State, and called him on his bee ess regularly. If anything, they would have been helping Bernie, as they've been trying to do this year. That is a FACT, not an alternative.
