CNN is at it again (still)- cutting away from things that don't fit their narrative.

The (apparently Christian) company 'My Pillow" has retooled 75% of its manufacturing to make N95 equivalent masks. The head of the company, Michael Lindell, was invited to speak at the White House. Before he had the opportunity to explain what I just did, CNN cut the feed, predictably (and most certainly by design) prompting a slew of 'orange man bad'ers to complain and chastise the heroic response of American industry as little more than Trump advertising for his corporate pals (as indeed CNN did a great job of making it appear with the cut).

I tried to find it on youtube for a direct video imbed, but it was oddly missing from there. You can watch it and what was cut here or at a plethora of other 'non-lefty approved' news sources.

My question is this- can you perhaps understand why many Americans feel the media has a bias against Trump, conservatives, Christians, or perhaps even the truth itself? I'm not asking whether you agree with that sentiment, just if you can see why others might. And if so, perhaps you can see why, then, some of those people may not take very seriously the reports of a viral epidemic or the mass-broadcasted precautions it necessitates? How many times can someone get caught trying to deceive you before you stop bothering to worry about anything they say?

For those of you that continue to support these media frauds with your attention (yes, FOXers too!), how are you not perpetuating this spiral into mass 'no one trusts the boy who cried wolf'?

 

The msm has always done this. But now it happens hourly. They just don’t report on anything that doesn’t advance socialism.

 

But this is basically socialism. My Pillow isn't making masks for free. They're likely making a tidy profit off the stimulus. At least CNN could certainly get away with spinning it like that if only they didn't hate Trump so much.

 

Don't you remember once upon a time that they complained of censorship when the President limited the crowd of press reporters, then at the time took away baby Acosta's press pass. Oh, how things change when it comes to 'censorship'?

The first amendment gives them the right to cover the news, it doesn't give them the obligation to be a sore loser.

 

The hatred is for Christian America and capitalism. I think Trump just happens to be the guy with the most influence having those two traits, currently.
When Trump is gone, the next person who has the most national influence and those two traits will also be attacked relentlessly.

People such as Nancy Pelosi who flagrantly use Catholicism as a shield are most likely anything but. Her staunch support of late term abortion serves as evidence.
Just as many hard Lefties call themselves "Rightwing" for convenience and agenda, non Christians claim to be for similar nefarious reasons.
It seems most who "hate" Trump also have a strong disdain for Christianity. Just an observation. ymmv

 

I fully support their right to cover news however they wish. I don't even think it should be illegal for them to blatantly lie (1st Amendment). I'm just trying to find out why folks keep watching them anyway...

 

CNN is trying to improve ratings.
People are sick and tired, and yes mildly nauseous of Trump's rants followed by patting himself on the back for an hour. It's like watching the same I love Lucy rerun over and over.

If CNN thinks the briefings aren't helping ratings, they can always just cut them out of its programming entirely, instead of cutting the parts it feels are irrelevant. That's hurting ratings even more.

 

I personally would like to see them do that. Just say we will watch the President's briefing and show you if anything comes up. But that's probably not a good idea for them.

I fully support CNN's Decision (to cut away), and I see no problem with it whatsoever.

 

They didn't cut on trump, they cut on Lindell, and you are having a hissy fit. Okay.

CNN has been cutting back on these C19 briefings because if there is anything important, it will be said in the 1st ten minutes, unless Trump decides on having another kinepshitt fit with a reporter. And this is the leader you want?

And why would it matter what Lindell had to say? If he said anything important, it would be covered in print, but I'm sure you can catch more of him on Fox News anyways, so what's the problem? Can't get enough of his ads?

 

All of the MSM outlets and even FOX have strict policies about this. They don't do "product placement" they don't do "product reviews" they don't do anything which can even be interpreted as giving free ads or even "good PR" to companies. It was done a lot up until a few years ago when there were rumblings about new regulations and since then you just don't see it at all anymore.

And this type of thing, where this ******* is blatantly using people dying to hawk product isn't even in good taste about it. Forget socialism/capitalism for one second. That isn't entrepreneurialism that's one totally sick ass **** trying to use the deaths of thousands to sell ****ing overpriced POS pillows fer chrissake The producer couldn't cut away fast enough I wager and I bet he'll NEVER get on TV for free again

The Better Business Bureau has now rated his sleep product as F- (on a rating up to A+) because of consumer complaints, deceptive advertising, and other deficiencies.

Less than a third of consuners like it. But apparently God likes them!

His new save America mask (costs and profits inmentioned) cotton mask is called a "N95 EQUIVALENT" because you can't get a N95 mask made out of cotton without additions and meeting approvals. But we assume it keeps mask storms out.

BTW, Trump is encouraging the hyper religious owner to run for Congress. What a surprise! His constant troubles with his pathetic idea of "good business ideals" (as in not having any ideals!) makes him a great candidate for President!

The point of these briefings is to update the public on the progress of this pandemic. When Trump begins his long winded superlative ramblings, the show is basically over.

If this My Pillow Guy is going to be lending a hand by adding to the PPE supply, great, but congratulate him AFTER it's been done, not before.

 

I don't think the masks that are now 75% of his business need any advertising...

 

The big question is that since airports are nearly closed does cnn have any non-captive viewers?
