    I’m on my way right now to an Army Surplus Armor Vehicle depot to hopefully purchase an armored with M-3 ww2 halftrack armed withquad 40mm AA gun

    I need another stimulus loan about 100k by Friday. Thanks much and God Bless America, the American Flag and

    DON’T GET IN MY WAY at the Grocery store while I’m trying to park my tank

    I believe they refer to it as a 'rebate' check. My understanding is it is actually a rebate against your 2020 personal income tax refund so likely any refund you would normally receive, will be reduced by the amount you are given up front.

    Above $75,000 of adjusted gross in 2018, will reduce the amount received, stepping down as the income goes up. The article link I posted above is from March 19, but the general gist is the same. Don't currently have time to hunt a new link down. :)

    I have kids living on their own who's paychecks are dependent on wages that they are not going to be getting for long. I am supposed to trust the social safety net to catch them securely in the bosom of govt compassion? You think I'm buying a lawn mower?

    I’m over double that. Probably won’t see much, which is ok. I’m deemed essential and haven’t missed an hours work and don’t need help. Let someone else have it.

    Since the pandemic started I have bought a tv for the shop (because my wife is now home and I need little space), new golf clubs, and wheels and tires for my car. Doing my share.

    What is "the economy"?
    Why won't you be helped if you save the money? Aren't you just as much a part of the economy as anyone else?

    I think it will only benefit the economy (as a whole) if that purchase is beneficial to both you and the other parties you are trading with.

    Spending just for the sake of spending is not helpful to the economy as a whole.

    For me, since I work in an essential services field (Transit Operator), the crisis, fortunately, has had very little impact on me and my family. However, I also have a move coming up and need new furniture, so guess where our money is going?

    Getting the money circulating helps the economy. Sticking it in the bank does not.
