I was searching through government press release archives regarding this matter.

What I've noticed is that the most mainstream media sources conveniently ignore (lie via omission????) a lot significant events.

Here is a timeline that I am presenting, but it is incomplete. And although I have substantiated most of it, there are still some events I would like others to substantiate.

No legal experience. Not even a law degree. Apparently his only qualification was that Joe Biden approved of him.
May 13, 2016: Joe Biden calls Poroshenko, welcomes the appointment of his "solid" choice Lutsenko and says that the USA is now ready to sign 1$ billion loan guarantee.

January 23, 2018: In a live video stream from a Council on Foreign Relations event, Joe Biden confesses that he threatened President Poroshenko and Prime Minister Yatsenyuk, telling them that he would withhold $1 billion in loan guarantees unless Shokin was fired. (Biden also says he visited Ukraine "12 or 13" times).

January 2018: Mykola Zlovcheski returns to Kiev from Moscow.

January 2019: Yovanovitch opposes visa for Shokin to come to the USA.

April 21, 2019: Zelensky wins presidential election. 1st phone call with Trump.

May 21, 2019: Yovanovitch recalled. Zelensky is inaugruated president and his first official executive action is to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada. PM Groysman resigns.

July 21, 2019: In a snap election, Zelensky's "Servant of the People" party wins a controlling majority in the Verkhovna Rada.

July 25, 2019: Trump speaks on the phone with Zelensky.

Although the timeline is extremely well sourced, there is still some gaps. Please help fill in the gaps.

When you investigate the timeline, it's hard to come to any other conclusion.

Why did Biden hold back the loan guarantees until he got his "solid" guy (Lutsenko, who Biden already knew was corrupt because he had recently served prison time for blatant corruption), installed to lead the PG office?

February of 2014 - Russia invaded the Crimea. Putin had his eye on seizing the natural gas reserve under the Crimea and the Black Sea.

February of 2014 - Sanctions were placed on Russia for its aggressive takeover of the Crimea.

March 2014 - Putin was successful and made plans to build a new pipeline into Crimea. Part of the South Stream extension...

April of 2014 - The Obama administration cut a deal with Rienzi in Italy to turn a blind eye while Koch-Glitsch-Italia sold pipeline gas transfer equipment to Putin to use for his new South Stream pipeline going into the Crimea.
The money was transfer through a Burisma holding company contracted by Naftogaz, by way of a backdoor deal involving the Koch-Glitsch Italia branch administrator Natalia Cherenkova and CFO Elena Romanova who arranged for the money to be laundered by way of Latvia and Cyprus...

April 2014 - To provide cover for Burisma and the Obama administration, Hunter Biden ends up on the Burisma board of directors.

May 2014 - Part of the US aid package set up to help the Ukraine pay off its energy debts is partially routed back to US interests from a grateful Vladimir Putin. Hunter Biden is just one of many who enjoyed the windfall cash cow.

Yovanovitch confessed that the State Department denied Shokin a passport. It seems likely that they did not want Shokin talking to the US mass media.

 

Obama admitted that his administration negotiated a "transition of power" (aka orchestrated a coup) in Ukraine in 2014. Many people were killed in the bloody mess.

As a result of the democratically elected government of Ukraine being ousted, the people in Crimea had no legitimate representation in Kiev. So they held a referendum in Crimea and overwhelmingly voted to secede from Ukraine. Then of course they voted to join the Russian Federation.

So, as a very predictable result of the Obama-backed regime change (aka coup) Putin's Russian Federation got the entire very strategically located Crimean peninsula, but what did the Obama administration get in return? Just a few million bucks for Hunter? That could not have been the entirety of the quid pro quo. That seems like a raw deal, doesn't it?

And according to this contemporaneous press report, Yuriy Lutsenko was pardoned by ex-president Yanukovytch following a personal "appeal" (aka bribe?) by former Polish President Alexander Kwasniewski.

What do Alexander Kwasniewski and Hunter Biden have in common? They were both on the board of directors of Burisma together.

So, in a nutshell, Hunter Biden's fellow Burisma director Alexander Kwasniewski got Yuriy Lutsenko pardoned, then Joe Biden got prosecutor General Viktor Shokin fired by threatening to cut off US aid to Ukraine.

And Prosecutor General Shokin was replaced with Lutsenko.
