Yeh, wouldn’t want to miss the speech from the ex heroin addict / my pillow “man” that believes trump was sent from god or trump bragging that so many people are watching him... jeez, wouldn’t want to miss that! Should make watching it compulsory!

They are free to run their business as they see fit. Do you want gov't to dictate what free market corporations can do?

    OK, rant away.
Better option is to not pay attention to them. If they aren't covering the prez, then they are spreading his lies.

Although, he has finally got on board that this virus is serious. And is now taking measures to address the seriousness of it, instead of whining how bad the stock market is doing.

There are lots of rat patooties in NYC. Did you see the video? I just call them Democrats, but if you want to call them rats, I'm good with that.

Excuse me. Democrats called him a xenophobe for restricting travel to and from China, announced on January 31, taking effect on Feb 2. In the meantime, in February, Pelosi was inviting people to visit Chinatown to catch the disease that was brought to the US from China. Democrats decided to invite sick people from all over the world to party in New Orleans after dropping off their diseases in NYC. Trump acted like the disease was serious. Democrats spread it around the country.

Well Trump handled it well today going straight to peripheral matters we have to deal with due to the virus and then took over midstream to talk about the major issues of the crisis. Much harder fo CNN to cut out of the middle as soon as he begins speaking on the main matter.

It's the CDC, Dr. Fauci and other medical experts who are correcting Trump.

The problem is that Trump's false information comes FAR too fast for legitimate media to correct.

Plus, once the president says it, it takes real work, NOT just some media person, to correct the damage.

Remember that Trump repeatedly said that we could open by Easter. There is LOTS of evidence that people BELIEVED that - even when the CDC and others were saying that Easter would be far worse NOT better.

That made a difference. It allowed governors of states such as FL to fail to implement restrictions that we know are critical.

Remember that Trump made strong statements about chloroquine in his briefings, when it fact there was no scientific indication that it would be effective, what the dosage might be if it actually worked, what the ramifications might be for those who are at risk for heart attack (since it can cause fibrilation), etc.

And, the ramificatin of Trump's garbage is that people started hording it and those in legitimate need for the drug can't fill prescriptions.

There are ramifications when the president demandes to be the one who talks to the nation about COVID (instead of CDC) and yet he has no interest or knowledge on the subject.

You can't find any false reporting from what you call the MSM.

The false reporting has come from Trump himself (at EVERY briefing), from Fox (Hannity, Trish Reagan, and others), from Rushbo.

They all proclaimed that COVID is a Democratic plot against the president. And, they did so for MONTHS. They claimed that we could go back to work by Easter when the CDC said that is just plain FALSE. Trump has made entirely political statements concerning his success, but where his claims are false.

These claims never get refuted by those news outlets on air or by those who have stated them.

15 people have the coronavirus. It will go to ZERO. The D response to the virus is a hoax.

2 BS statements by the leader of the free world. I don't care what the Ds called him. He is the leader. He is in charge. He thought it was all media hype. I take it you agree with him.

Yes. Starting on Sunday, Mar 29, he started taking it seriously.
I read he has a good friend with the virus in a coma. It's all fun and games, until it hits close to home.

Anyway, loser watch CNN, like losers watch Faux tv or MSNBC. Anyone watching those channels are only looking to confirmation bias.

So, why do you care what a TV station you likely hate says anyway?

What's the big deal?? All they had to do was to switch to Fox news for full coverage. Besides Trump doesn't like CNN anyhow claiming it's fake news, so I'm sure he was pleased from the outset.

For many in the news, there is an ethics issue involved.

So far, every briefing has broadcast false information to the public. News groups do not like being the instrument for that. And, the process of correction is just too late.

Also, when corrections are made it looks like it was motivated by politics rather than science.

Trump needs to be constantly fact-checked.

90% of the IMBECILITY that he spews is BS.

Trump still won't own up to the fact that he called the Virus a Hoax, Trump still won't own the fact that he Disbanded the NSC Pandemic Unit, Etc...

Trump is a Complete MORON, and why should any TV Network (Outside of Trump's State-Sponsored Propaganda Network--Faux News) even give Trump any airtime?

Especially when there are so many other options, even C-Span?

Seems more than just CNN are finally wising up....

    SNIP
In response to criticism from the White House last week for not showing the president's briefing in full, MSNBC told The Hill in a statement that it wasn't broadcasting the full briefing "because the information no longer appeared to be valuable to the important ongoing discussion around public health."
    ENDSNIP

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/journalists-skipping-trumps-daily-coronavirus-140040115.html

Frankly, any serious journalist should have figured out it was going to be a ridiculous 4 years when Sean Spicer came out and tried to sell America on the Trump inauguration size...

    But most didn't...

I just want all Americans to be fully informed. I do watch the briefing in full every day on Fox News.

Can you imagine if Trump decided he was going to have the briefings broadcast exclusively on FOX.... Watch how quickly CNN etc would fire up their outrage machines and change their tune! "How dare you cut us off from the information we were trying to pretend wasn't important anyhow.....!!!"

All of this is stupid politics, and I think most reasonable Americans are sick of it. Quit crying about how Trump is in charge and just broadcast the briefings in their entirety and quit with the political cry baby crap.

According to Trump, nobody watches CNN anyhow so to me there should be no issue with them not broadcasting his "briefings" in their entirety.
