Don't understand exactly what you are implying. Should Trump paint the pandemic with a broad brush and treat every state the same? We know there are a wide variety of differences in this Pandemic from State to State. Shouldn't governors be given the opportunity to declare what help is best to serve their state at any given time?

I think the OP is confusing the premise that this Pandemic War is the same as a war of Nation against Nation where every state has a mutual concern that is mutually experienced at any given time. If you want to treat all 50 states as a solid collective we would need many states to "catch up" in the pandemic with New York (God forbid)
As states become healthy they should be given opportunity to contribute to the economy in the National interest. It is not a one size fits all. Trump is taking the right approach.

I am not sure if this isn't just an attempt to use the Pandemic as a means to "get" our President in the approach to an election. We are in an unfortunate situation that nobody asked for.

This Pandemic War effects the States differently and they will recover differently. Every State has different needs at different times and it is in the National interest that they be treated accordingly. Sounds to me like another attempt to disparage our President that you have been against since he was elected. There is absolutely no comparison here to the Civil War or any other War against a Foreign Nation. Nevertheless it is a War!

He should, for example, take responsibility for downplaying the seriousness of the virus for several weeks, while it got a strong foothold in the country and is now exploding. But he won't. Because he is a coward and a narcissist.

Trump instituted the travel ban with china the same day the who declared it an emergency from china and was called a racists. Quit hating and start actually caring for others. Hating trump gets us no where in the time of need.

The federal government should not be telling states how to run their state. They can support the state's decisions, make suggestions, and lend aid, but thats it.

Trump has done an outstanding job throughout this crisis. I love how dems expect him to have a crystal ball. Everyone knows that if the federal government tried to lockdown the country when there were a dozen cases, everyone would have told the feds to **** right off.
