If you proved it, I would have accepted the proof so no need to go there.

I have been shameless for long time. Long enough that i can see through nonsense with ease.

All bond are risky. You are discouraged from figuring that out. ;-)

Tempting. Fortunately, for my portfolio, that will not happen. ;-)

Our current bipartisan ruling political class will never really cut the size power and cost of government. It is not in the nature of the beast.

Ordinary Americans have learned the hard way that sitting on cash is a sure way to lose it.

Unfortunately, if folks lose faith in the ALMIGHTY dollar, we are TOAST. That is why we can run a deficit. If we cannot run a deficit, that is the END of AMERICA. Period.

No, of course you wouldn't. You would simply do what you have done: deny facts that you know to be true. IME, less than one person in 1000 can accept a proof that their most cherished beliefs are false and evil. You are not that one.

    Fact.
If it pays any taxes, it subsidizes landowners. Merely by existing, you have to use land, which means you are forced to subsidize landowners.
It is obvious that I understand it incomparably better than you. What productive contribution does the landowner qua landowner make in return for the value the community creates in the land? What productive contribution does the banker make in return for the interest he charges for exercising his money creation privilege? What productive contribution do patent trolls make in return for the royalties they extort from producers? What productive contribution do the owners of defense contractors make in return for the exorbitant no-compete contracts they are given?
I've posted quite a lot on the latter topic. Education has to come first. Maybe it's time for an organization.
    Bingo.

Right. Only sit on cash long enough to acquire assets that will appreciate in value.
Timing is everything. Everyone should have been cashing in gains last year while the markets were overbought and a correction was overdue.

I agree that when the world loses trust in the US$, as it inevitably will, the USA will be in for a world of hurt -- and others will, too, because it is virtually certain that the US oligarchy will lash out militarily rather than relinquish even the smallest portion of its unjust advantages.

I don't know if I like the Fed buying common stocks or not. But why are you under the ridiculous impression that when a share of stock is bought the money goes straight into some billionaires pocket? It actually goes into nobody's pocket (other than with the few 100% privately owned businesses.) The preponderance of that money ends up in IRAs, 401Ks, and public and private pension funds for individuals of all stripe.

Good for you on replying with the truth about gov'ts.

I thought it to be a waste of time how smaller is better and more effective. I expect a typical RW nonsense response.

Actually, I see the response to you has been ignored by your insightful questions.

You've been fooled to believe if you own a share of stock, you are an owner of a company. LOL. All you have it a share and no voice. All you will do is hope the price is higher when you sell than when you bought.
How many stock holders meeting have you attended? How many boards do you sit upon?

Most stock is owned by the rich.
That is false and absurd. It indisputably goes into the seller's pocket.
    No it doesn't:

Not everybody has the same number of shares. Power in the company relates to those shares. I doesn't change the ownership. Only the portion of overall ownership.

Because it boosts the price of stock they hold?

    Oh....

401Ks are managed so poorly and so stupidly conservatively that managers of those funds act like rookie investors. They're so risk averse (read that as covering their asses) that they sell when the market is down and down buy until it comes back up...locking in losses

Look at you 401 and track it to the Dow. I'm no where NEAR a savvy market investor but I've seen THAT over and over

Shares are ownership. If you disagree, you are either dishonest or uninformed

And the ownership of the means of production is the definition of socialism
