I don't recall discussing Biden at all, so I'm not sure what you're going on about here. Seems to me youre trying to find fault with me. Maybe because I keep annoying you by providing facts that you don't like?
You were claiming that was wrong when I said that the democrats were denying there was a problem. Biden said Trump was fear mongering. Do you deny Biden said that?
No, I don't, but I did not hear him say it, I haven't read anything about it, so I can't agree with you that he did until and unless you provide a freaking link, something you seem so reluctant to do with the majority of your whataboutisms. Why do I have to keep asking you to prove your claims? Does google not work on your device?
Does it not work on yours? You can find multiple responses. "Biden responded that President Trump’s travel restrictions were xenophobic and fearmongering:" https://www.investmentwatchblog.com...enophobia-in-response-to-travel-restrictions/
How could the D's take measures to stop anything he was doing to take on the pandemic? Do you have specifics? Flights or travels actually cancelled. Responses to this cancellation? You keep harping on this 1 action. When I've given a few much later than his supposed travel ban. If he thought it serious enough to limit travel, then why did he blow it off until 3/29? He only started taking it serious in the last few days.
When dodging and deflection have been pointed out to you as losing arguments. Resort to projections that are totally baseless. tRUMP is the leader today. When will he begin leading? Cue, dodge, deflect, projection. 3 2 1....
In order to judge his performance, you have to compare him against someone. There has not been anything similar to this. The best we can do is to compare with other leaders, especially potential presidents. Using the only available standard, his performance has been golden. You really don't want to hear about Biden, do you?
You are trying to compare Trump to some imaginary ideal person who has the benefit of hindsight. However, when you compare him to real people such as Biden and other world leaders, his performance has been good.
New York has 92,000 cases today. The number of cases is doubling every 3 days. So you need twice as many every 3 days. You do the rest of the math.
Are you related to Trump? We all know he can't plan. Can you? How many cases will NY have in 20 days?
Well.....Lets see. According to your own quote it says... "an apparent reference to New York". Now if he had actually said New York, do you suppose the author of the quote would have thrown in the word "apparent"? Of course he would not. He threw in the word "apparent" , obviously because he has to admit that is his interpretation of what he thought that he meant. In truth, he did not say New York at any point in that discussion, which is the ONLY reason that he said apparent. With the above undeniable reality, when the reporter then said "You said New York might not need 30,000--"...Trump was 100% correct in pointing out that he did not actually say that This is a perfect example of the left insisting that Trump is lying when in fact his distinction is 100% correct. You read his mind, carefully discerning your interpretation of his REAL intent ( or whatever leftist media member that tells you whatever you want to hear), and then you argue against your ( or their) interpretation rather than what he actually said. It is comical, and it happens day, after day, after day, after day..... I am not saying that he has never uttered an incorrect word ( as with any president), but leftists bogusly turn everything that he says into a lie. The Left has become the Boy Who Cried Wolf, and someday when/if they really need people to listen, nobody is going to pay attention.
Since you have the translator. Who was he talking about. Wyoming? You shouldn't need to be a lawyer to understand the President.
In no manner shape, or form have I pretended to be a translator. The OP is the one gleaning meaning that was not expressly stated. I am the one whom has stuck to what he actually said. He did not say New York, it is as simple as that, which is precisely why the person in his quote said "apparent". It does not even matter if it WAS intended as a jab at Cuomo. He did not specifically say New York. If his intent was to rankle Cuomo, he did so WITHOUT expressly saying New York. Perhaps that omission was even by design, but whether it was or was not is irrelevant to the point being debated. The only thing relevant to this debate however is that the second reporter claimed that he SPECIFICALLY said New York when he in fact did NOT, and thus Trump was 100% correct and justified in denying that assertion.
So are you implying that in order to recognize that he did not expressly say "New York", that you therefore need to be a lawyer? To me, I find it easy to be able to read a quote and then determine what someone did or did not expressly say. You seemingly have difficulty. I am glad that we have that cleared up.
The burden of links is on the one making the claim. Or are you under the impression that everyone else should look up whatever you claim to be true? I've never known a forum to work that way. You claim it, you prove it. I can't believe I have to explain that.
No one knows the answer to that question right now. Just like no one knows how many New Orleans or Miami will have.
I have provided that link multiple times on other threads. All you have to do is google "Biden said Trump was fear mongering" and it comes up. I cannot believe I have to explain something that simple.
And I can't believe you still expect others to prove your claims. I'm not on your other thread, I'm on this one. Please put up or shut up.
Perhaps I made too much of a passing reference by simply citing my course in the context of my point. So far, Trump's magnum opus was his travel ban against China, which started in late January. Over a month later from then, and less than a month ago today, House Democrats were trying to "rein in the executive branch’s authority to declare travel restrictions." (https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/mar/7/house-democrats-schedule-vote-on-bill-to-dismantle/) Furthermore, Biden, the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee, on 01 February 2020, the day after Trump imposed the China travel ban, tweeted that the travel ban against China was xenophobic: "We are in the midst of a crisis with the coronavirus. We need to lead the way with science — not Donald Trump’s record of hysteria, xenophobia, and fear-mongering. He is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency." At a campaign rally on Feb 28th. A month after he wanted some sort of travel ban. He called responses to the virus a new D hoax. Because they were saying this was going to get bad. He said 15 cases will go to ZERO. He never took it serious until 3/29.
