    Sorry - he didn’t call the travel restrictions racist or xenophobic in that clip. He didn’t criticise Trump’s travel restrictions at all.

    At least you acknowledge that he downplays it verbally. And since many people turn to the president for advice, that almost certainly made the spread worse.

    He didn’t ban travel from China. He imposed some restrictions, didn’t impose a ban.
    I have not heard or seen any Democrat call those travel restrictions racist. And don’t try to claim that Biden did. He didn’t. All he did was caution against xenophobia. Which Trump immediately did by calling it the China virus.
    I am saying Trump is a coward and a narcissist based on his behaviour.

    He's not passing anything the states and local governments have always been the frontline managers of emergencies. Why would you want total strangers coming in and taking over your state and your county and your city of which they know nothing in a crisis like this? What do they know about your healthcare systems? When have they ever drilled to take over as your state and local authorities do?

    The Washington Post, New York Times, ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR, CNN & MSNBC all questioned why Trump shutdown travel to China & they downplayed the virus.

    Now they say Trump should have done more Unfortunately for them, we still have access to Their foolish articles.

    Failed presidential candidate / mayor of New York Bill Deblasio downplayed the virus many times.

    That link does not show him opposing the travel restrictions. Quite the opposite. He says they may work to slow the spread of the virus but not stop it.

    It is a lie to say he opposed travel restrictions.
