Everyone would be upset if Trump lied. Just because you and a handful of others think he lied doesn't mean he did. It's not like the virus was going around beheading Americans in the first portion of its existence here, and it's not like Trump played it down by calling it a JV virus. I agree - an investigation is not what the nation needs right now. We do, however, have to continue to push for transparency of spending. Trump is offering himself as 'the oversight' when it comes to the corporate rescue fund. He is avoiding the issue by criticizing opponents of playing politics. Since when is transparency politics?

 

It is not likely to end up this way, but given a choice between the country falling apart and the Democrats regaining solid power, versus the other way around would put the Pelosis, Schumers, et al in a real quandary.

Only places as they started ramping up with the virus. If Trump could foresee the future then we may not be in this situation. Unfortunately, he can't so he can only deal with things as they come. This has been a learning curve for all of us, but something we could have been more prepared for if we'd ever made a big deal out of other unknown viruses that have hit us over the past couple of decades.

 

Sure - its in the bill. But as I've pointed out - and is documented in several articles easily found - Trump is dodging that aspect of the bill. He is appointing himself as oversight. He doesn't see the need to follow all the requirements of the bill that granted him the funding.

By tying up all three branches of the Federal Government during the critical period when this virus was invading our nation, and then delaying aid out of spite, she is actually proving to much more than troublesome, but actually dangerous to the American People. The only reason she holds such immense power is because the Democrats in the House are currently the majority and continue to support her reign.

 

You get the votes, you can investigate what you want. Its what the Senate and House do all the time anyway. That's how we had three separate committees investigating Bengazi. But you subsequently lost the House so when voters decided to put that power and responsibility into Democratic hands, they presumably decided that that should be reflected in the decisions in the House.

 

Oh hell, let's just skip the whole committee and get on with the impeachment, oh hell, why waste time on that, just remove Trump and Pence immediately and install the witch. How the hell else can we save us all from the virus unless we pass the new green deal and up the number of abortions. We need to get our priorities in order here people.
